"Cause I ain't got a pencil" written by a student of Baltimore city public schools.

Dude that’s heavy.

Baltimore city schools have tons of issues currently

7th grade students receiving 1st grade level reading and math

Incredibly subpar facilities

Money literally disappearing and cutting facilities and budgets because of it, despite Baltimore ...

And all this is topped off by massive societal and gang violence issues that happen every day in the city. Baltimore hasn't had a murder in 11 days and it's almost a three year record streak

I applaud this kid for going to class, despite the shit storm he unfortunately has to deal with

Edit: apparently its not written by a Baltimore City school student. Whatever, point still stands, Baltimore City schools are an issue

More mass than a collapsing sun.

Lazy kid needs to pull himself up by the bootstraps and work, obviously he doesn't have a parent at home! Sheesh! No work ethic, kids these days...

Can we borrow this for our military parade?

I like how I've seen this post from both sides

I came here to see a Gal Gadot colored pencil, not a Gal Gadot, colored pencil.

Raised every thing.

Trump’s Presidential Portrait is still the best.

Trump’s Presidential Portrait is still the best.

Now try saying the same of the prophet Muhammad.

So you're saying Trump isn't a piece of shit?

He checks off pretty much all of the criteria for being a piece of shit.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you are a supporter of a giant douchebag and why you find it weird that people are not fans of said douchebag.

Collusion, at least attempted collusion, is proven. Collusion though is not illegal. Do you not remember Trump Jr meeting with a Russian in Trump Tower to get direct help from the Russian government? He released the emails himself.

Also do you ever wonder what Mueller and his team do everyday? Do you think they just sit around thinking today will be the day we find evidence? Do you think they'd show you the evidence during an ongoing investigation?

Edit: u/aaaaaart I just want answers. I want to hear your side. I just don't understand why you made your comments and then ran off to T_D, screenshot it, and then posted that people are mean to you. I've responded to you twice. I just want you to try to convince me that Trump is the way, the truth and the light. Sell him like you're on shark tank.

I'm privileged to be able to spout off my hate for my president, and you're privileged to defend him. Aside of our political differences, it's awesome that we live in a country where we're allowed to speak our minds and disagree with eachother without fear of incarceration(for the most part... I know there are way too many exceptions... the anti-kneeling movement is literally the opposite of a free country.)

Hi OP,

Born with TGA, had surgery, scar still visible today. In mid 20's now and very physically active.

Just want you to know that your child has a very bright future ahead. Also very adorable. Congrats!

I don't know how to post, as I rarely do; so I guess i'll just "reply". I also was born with a CHD called Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) and I had a pulmonary artery sling that crushed my trachea. I had it repaired when I was a month old, but then at the end of December I had surgery to repair my trachea again! I just played my first basketball game since the surgery and I am currently running 2 miles or so every other day!

By the time this guy grows up he'll be an olympian

As a nurse working in a pediatric CICU, for 18 years this May, I love seeing this! We see the patients when they're at their sickest but not when they go home. Patients will sometimes visit the CICU when they come in for their cardiac clinic follow-ups but I work nights and miss their visits. This happy healthy baby makes me feel good about what I do because there are some shifts when things are rough.

And I'm especially loving the comments from those of you who had your repairs years ago, and you've gone on to living healthy and happy lives. I've been in this line of nursing long enough to remember when many of these defects could not be repaired and if they could, the life expectancy was short.

Happy CHD Month!

Congenital Heart Defect. Basically anything wrong with the heart at birth, but most commonly ventricular septal defects.

My brother passed away the day after his son was born. This is me meeting his son for the first time.

How sad to hear you lost your brother. Take good care of the little one for he will need it. All the best of luck

For all you people saying he's lying and just doing it for the karma.

Same dude in the picture from his post history. Also he posted this two months ago:

"My brother was a film maker but he passed away a little over a year ago at age 27. The one thing we had in common was both loving film. I decided to go back to school and become a film student. ( helps me feel like I’m not letting his memory die) this is the first thing I ever filmed. I just moved to Florida and have zero friend here so doing it 100% by myself was a little difficult especially not having any opinions to help me. Had no idea if what I was making was garbage. There are two versions on my youtube. One with voice over and one with out. If anyone could tell me which one they prefer and or give me any advice it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time! I have to present this in class on Monday and super anxious"

Maybe cut him some slack and try and show compassion? I know it's the internet and we're all cynical but he's not asking for anything just showing us a baby that'll never know his father smiling about meeting his uncle.

Big shoes to fill but a huge opportunity to carry on his brother's legacy. Best of luck with everything, OP.

How did he pass if you don’t mind answering. I lost both my brothers one in 2012 from Lymphoma and the other in 2014 from a car accident. It’s been the hardest thing to go through.

He got asked to leave the restaurant due to the nature of his t-shirt. Waiter who was serving him quit after seeing it happen.

He was asked to leave a private business for wearing a shirt with a large, vulgar message on it. Both Trump supporters and haters should be able to see the many layers of irony here.

That is vulgar and offensive regardless of who you voted for.

Edit: I get it. Free speech. He can wear whatever he wants but that doesn't change my opinion that the shirt is an expression of poor taste and attention seeking juvenile behavior.

The facebook comments on this were such a mess. As was the dude's description.

Apparently only white, racist Trump voters were leering at him and cheered when he left. People of color were applauding his bravery. The whole thing reeked of /sub/thathappend

What if you're someone who doesn't like Trump but has children, and the shirt was a bit of a shitshow?

Afterwards, the waiter followed him to Home Depot for more pictures, too.

A girl with Down syndrome got up during a service & went toward the Pope. Security men quickly moved in to take her back to her mom. The Pope stopped them & said to her "come sit next to me.” She then sat down near him and he continued his homily, holding her hands.

"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Classy move, your holiness.

I think we finally have a good pope. He seems like he genuinely believes in more than money. Which I think the church has been obsessed with for hundreds, if not thousands of years.

Yep, am atheist but think the pope is one of the most genuinely decent people on the planet.

Before anyone comes in here spouting how he’s actually a shitty dude who has backwards beliefs, remember that he’s still the leader of a very old faith. The very fact that he is calling for people to treat gays, lesbians and trans people with love and compassion is a massive step forward.

By his actions, he is leading a historically close minded group of people to be more open and loving to their fellow man. Not by leaps and bounds by any means, but it’s still forward progress. Even if I’m not religious, I’ll still stand behind anyone who is trying to do what he is doing.

A girl with Down syndrome got up during a regular papal service and went toward Pope Francis. Security men quickly moved in to take her back to her mom. The Pope stopped them and said to her "come sit next to me.”

When you find a Christian acting like Jesus...

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

Matthew 19:14

For a non-Catholic, is it unusual that I have a favorite pope?

That's his whole jam though. He got rid of the all the gold and the throne etc and uses everything out of wood, saying that if wood was good enough for Jesus, a carpenter, it's good enough for him. I'm not religious but Fran is the man.

It's a rendered graphic, not a photo, so it's not in Germany.

Except when sitting in the sofa I'd be constantly terrified that when I turn around there'd be a guy in a hockey mask on the other side of the glass, staring back at me.

Well don’t just leave him out in the cold! Invite the poor chap in

the most uncanny thing is the strong yellow light from the lamp. it might look similar in person if this was a real place, but would be pretty much impossible to be captured on a photo.
