For the love of god, change arms race to a FFA gamemode

For the love of god, change arms race to a FFA gamemode

as the title suggests, its WAY more fun that way:D since there is only one winner anyways, there would be no unfair teams, and on baggage, I have never seen more than 2 people down there at the same time, so it could work, valve pls fix

PS: its just one command line to change: mp_teammates_are_enemies 1

You still killed 2 tho congrats.

I wouldnt even have killed 1

With my luck they are all lit 80-99

Considering the nature of this game I was expecting you to dink all of them and be doomed to watch your team fail to hit them once.

With my luck I only hit the first guy once for 27.

GG.bet are such important sponsors in csgo (NaVi) I believe this also belongs here.

GG.bet are such important sponsors in csgo (NaVi) I believe this also belongs here.

I doubt Navi will care until Valve actually stops them from being sponsored by gambling sites.

Would be preferred if they allowed legit sites like Betway and Rivalry that actually has licenses to operate in the countries they do though.

Trusting a gambling site from cis region. What could possibly go wrong?

Wait for absolutely nothing to happen from Navi, valve or anyone.

No one has ever cared. Hltv was and is still filled with tons of sites for example. It used to be worse back in the day. Does hltv check each site if they are legit, don't scam people and adhere to the legislative rules? I bet my ass they don't.

Multiple orgs, sites, players have supported shady gambling sites and didn't ever care. Remember when fallen was advertising gambling to his younger aged viewerbase? Did anyone care? Did he care? Not at all. One Reddit post and everything went under the radar a few weeks later. Remember when every pro in 2015/2016 was retweeting some random ass gambling site most of the times cus they got paid? I remember gambit players putting in some russian site in their name as well. Remember when VP bet on themselves and were outed with 100% proof? There's no issue with supporting Betway, a legit site for example, but back in the day so many shady sites were popping up.

Nothing ever happens. Unless it's such a big scandal like ibp. Welcome to the real world, if it doesn't hurt valve, valve won't care.

Trusting a cs gambling site from any region.

Apparently China is right next to Europe

Apparently China is right next to Europe

I doubt it.

Can you see the moon with your bare eyes, from Europe?

Yes (in certain conditions)

Can you see China with your bare eyes, from Europe?

No (under any circumstances)

Therefore, the moon is closer to Europe than China

China is closer to Europe than the moon is

flawless logic.

I know a guy who is Egyptian and he's not that old.

s1mple 1 tap ace

s1mple 1 tap ace

Painted the csgo logo for my boyfriends birthday :)

Painted the csgo logo for my boyfriends birthday :)

is your boyfriend single?

Eh

No

I fucking love it :D

Did he like it?

After all this time, I finally realized the Mousesports logo is in fact a mouse, and not a deformed Dolphin with a missing lower jaw.

After all this time, I finally realized the Mousesports logo is in fact a mouse, and not a deformed Dolphin with a missing lower jaw.

Reminds me of when Dazed thought LDLC's logo was a Pacman

I just see strange shapes, almost like an alien space ship, it's come so far from the origonal.

Seriously look at the older mousesports logos and it becomes a lot clearer.

??????? How'd you manage to think it was a dolphin

wow. I've never seen this before. Looks way more clear.

Introducing PRI: A New CS:GO Player Rating System

Introducing PRI: A New CS:GO Player Rating System

A big improvement over the current ratings that assign importance to certain actions almost arbitrarily.

In addition to the missing factors mentioned in the article it should also take player trades into account. Dying but getting traded immediately should not be punished so heavily as dying without a trade. I suspect that entry fraggers will have a very up and down rating during the game because getting the first kill or dying first makes a big difference on the round winrate.

Good point. Probably works both ways with the player doing the trading not getting as much credit.

We are excited to post our follow up to a previous blog post on the shortcomings of current CSGO player rating systems by announcing our solution: Player Round Impact (PRI). PRI incorporates the context of a round to gauge the effect that each kill has on the outcome of a round. The context of a round is measured via a win probability model that currently accounts for the map, the weaponry each side brings into a round, and how many players are alive for each team at a given time.

Check out the details of our methodology and see some examples in our blog post. You can also follow us on Twitter @SixteenZero for more content like this.
