I'll take that as high praise!
Tataru can also make that killing a lil quicker if you'd like....... https://imgur.com/a/jmG6O5Q
Great cosplay. I got annoyed just looking at you! (I mean this in the nicest way possible. Tataru kills me slowly)
Tataru was clearly written by someone who has worked in offices for many years.
She's like a composite of every receptionist, secretary and HR employee I've ever known.
I feel like I like her, but it's mostly because I find her incredibly familiar in a way that's hard to grasp
tell alphy "what the hecc"
everytime loading into eureka tho:
“is pazuzu up?”
“is panini up?”
“is the pizza here”
“WHERS MA BOI PIKACHU”

Whenever I hear about Pazuzu, I think of how in Futurama Farnsworth kept calling its name and looking for it everywhere
Does this mean Pazuzu is up?
Soooo... Aymerikachu when ?!!
I'll take Charauhbahn, please. I heard he was pretty savage.
Squirlwyb, I choose you!
Kan-E-saur = top pick
For those who don't want to read.
It's okay for lowbies to wait for NM's. It is okay if lowbies die from incidental damage from just regular monster pulling in the area, be kind and turn the mob away, or move the mob away so AOE and conals don't hit the waiting lowbie. It's not okay for you to pull things onto lowbies and kill them purposely.
Purposely getting other players killed is straight griefing and has been against the TOS since day 1. Dunno why some still act like this is new.
If they started cracking down on people AFK waiting for NM's above their level, the playerbase of Eureka would die so fast. When I'm in level range and do more than 30 DPS, I will most certainly help spawn NMs, but I sure as shit aren't going to chain farm for 50 exp a pop to get there.
Honestly, why does this trigger people so much?
Fate train mobs die within seconds anyway? It barely makes a difference if people afk or people don't. If everyone didn't afk, it would probably take just as long anyway, look at scorps and bears, how you have to wait until they respawn.
While that is very fitting and funny, I think this post really is better with /sub/shitpostxiv. No sarcasm
I lol’d take your upvote
This does not belong on this subreddit.
But I agree with you they are a bunch of morons.
Both break that rule in the exact same way. Both are bad DF experiences, both show the OP being polite while some random being an asshole.
Only difference is that a random presumed veteran is being rude to the polite new player OP in the one that didn't get removed, while the one that got removed has a new player being rude to the veteran OP being polite.
If both were removed, fine. If none were removed, fine. But keeping one and removing the other... I can't find any reason to call that fair at all.
It's pretty much only about getting enough upvotes before a mod sees it.
it's not a cat/aura commission so it's bound to get deleted :^)
900 upvotes shit post is still a shit post. Because of that reasoning a post like this came to be. Moderation is about enforcing the rules and not picking when because you are afraid of hurting someone's feelings.
Deep in the Glass Ocean, the great expanse of the Far East, lies an island recorded on no navigational charts. An island that seemingly appeared one day─an island that should not be. Recognizing its potential as a trading post, the brave and ambitious ventured forth to explore and claim it, only to discover an untamed land teeming with strange, monstrous beasts...
As it just so happens, we happen to have an island that's been missing in action lately. One which the Students of Baldesion call home...
Seeing as how Krile appears to be involved in this story based on the patch trailer, not to mention a reference to The Warriors of Dawn from the patch trailer, another element from FFV, might this be our mysterious missing Isle of Val?
Imagine you've got two players: the Sightseer and the Speedrunner.
The Sightseer wants to take things at his own pace. He likes variety in his gameplay, and quickly gets bored of doing the same thing over and over.
The Speedrunner wants to do things efficiently. Her favourite thing is to have the biggest numbers, or the lowest times. She hates the feeling of wasting time.
Neither person is playing the game "wrong". But they're seeking different things from it.
Now put 3 Speedrunners and 5 Sightseers in a game together.
The Speedrunners will quickly work out the most efficient way of playing the game (because that's what they find fun) and then they won't want to do anything else, because it's a waste.
The Sightseers want to run all the things. But, without "efficiency" as a way of ranking them, the Sightseers don't gather any unified force behind any of the things. Occasionally they talk to each other and gain momentum for something novel, but mostly they just go along with the population at large. It's not that Sightseers are lazy or indecisive people. It's that as a group they don't have a single direction they all want to push — because we just defined them as people who want to do more than one thing.
So the Speedrunners have something they want. They push to do that thing, and push against doing anything else. And, well, the Speedrunners are right: other stuff is less efficient. Considering the Sightseers aren't opposed to doing the efficient thing (they want to do it, they just want to do other things too) it's not hard to convince them to do the efficient thing a few times.
So — even if the Speedrunners are a minority — the group as a whole tends to gravitate toward the Speedrunner plan of running the efficient thing... over and over and over...
...until the Sightseers all burn out and there's no longer enough population to support Diadem.
Of course the real world doesn't consist of Sightseers and Speedrunners. Real people have complex motives and can't be reduced to two simple groups. But I think the metaphor does loosely demonstrate one of the ways MMO gameplay tends to break down.
I'm praying the Eureka is fun; Diadem was not my jam, but I figure they've learned a bit. My hope is to really dive in and enjoy myself a long term grind or something.
The optimistic side of me has high hopes for something fun, but the pessimistic side of me fears that just like Diadem people will figure out the fastest possible way to achieve things in Eureka and that is all people will ever do (aka Dinosaur island).
Even if it WAS a Fantasia...
that-- that's not a slider
T..that bulge tho..
Is that a Lala in your pants...?
BUT IT SHOULD BE
His aether has returned to the lifestream :(
My condolences to his family. May he ever walk in the light of the crystal.
SE should add him as an NPC to the game. He showed everyone what the game was all about. ;_;
Watched the series, and I'm really sad. My condolences to his family. Rest in the light of the crystal, dad.
