17 miles? That's not a hike, that's a pilgrimage!
Reddit glitched and showed a picture of tiramisu instead of you dog, so i just wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to figure out what the internet hadn't told be about the out-doors
17 miles? That’s not a pilgrimage, that’s a migration.
17 miles? That's not a migration, that's an emigration.
Saw the pup and all I could think of was this.
Hi bella, have a head pat from reddit.
Hobo Jo looks like a sweetie.
How can people just leave pets behind when they move?
At college they had a whole community of cats they kept around to control pests. It worked out really well. They all got spayed and neutered, cats from the shelter got a home and full bellies, and there was always a random cat around to make you feel better on a shitty day by rubbing on your leg.
Thanks for taking Hobo Joe in! You are a good human and you will be rewarded with years of love!
That's cute and all but ... "Head bobbing, swaying, and weaving are 3 huge tells of distress in an elephant."
When I was in Bali at one of the elephant sanctuaries, I noticed an elephant dancing on its own similar to this. So I remarked how cute it was. The worker there told me that the reason it was dancing was because it was depressed. Kind of a bummer, I felt bad.
I am not sure if this phenomenon is true or not, so please correct me if I am wrong.
Yeah, I would guess the elephant was 'dancing' before he started.

My cousin went to Chiang Mai Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, and spent the day in the watering hole giving her a mud bath, feeding her, and playing with her. Her sanctuary is an extremely humane one that cares wholly for the conditions of all of their elephants. He purposefully chose an anti-ride sanctuary because that’s where the cruelty and stress occurs for most elephants in Thailand.
Here is an excerpt from their about page on their website: “ ABOUT US Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located approximately 60km from the city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. Founded in July 2014, it is a joint initiative between members of the Karen hill-tribes and Chiang Mai locals who were concerned about the welfare of elephants in Thailand.
Currently comprised of 9 spacious locations Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is home to over thirty formerly mistreated elephants, who are now free to enjoy their lives.
OUR MISSION is to provide as many elephants as possible with the good health, freedom, and happiness they truly deserve. We use our progressive and ethically responsible approach to elephant eco-tourism as a platform to raise awareness and educate people from Thailand and around the world about elephant care and the plight of the Asian elephant.”
I got to sit in the same row as a couple with one of those ragdoll cats. It made a tolerable flight awesome
Close but terrifying second:
I appreciate that the gif cuts to then landing so we know the kitty made it back to earth.
But seriously, please scan for microchips!! He could be already owned and missed.
So i did talk to my neighbors and turns out that they had like a million kittens and did say this is one of them and thought it died in the bush or something so they said we can keep him
This is sad
Yeah, except they are never allowed to move or leave.
Is this how ice cream is made?
Okay listen up, this is a calf. Calfs are put into these enclosures to stop them from spreading communicable diseases they could get from adult cows. Once they mature they become part of the larger herd and let out into the pasture.
So anyone talking about how tortured that calf is and how it'll be trapped in that "cage' for the rest of its life knows nothing about farming.
I forsee a foster fail in our future
He's right, the earliest post of this image I could find was from March 2016
Your wife is an excellent negotiator.
Honestly, I'd say two is better than one. They will keep each other busy and will be less anxious.
Exactly how a good compromise works, neither gets what they wanted. -also congratulations.
Sorry for your loss, though it did take me a while to realise you were talking about cats...
I'd like to think this is a still from the beginning of a gif that has him slowly raising his arms and shaking his jazz hands.
Aww, hi, Cooper! Are you being a good kitty for Santa Claws this year?
Cooper looks like he's tired of your shit OP.
Cooper loves a hug! And naps almost 24/7
