Really good fantasy armour, inspired by gothic armour from the 1460's through 1510's.
Not mine, just sharing. Link to artist.
Hey guys, this is a character design I've recently done for someone over at /sub/DnD. This is the description I used as starting point:
"A tall human-looking woman (6'6") with tanned skin has a white-knuckled grip on her narrow-but-tall greatsword, which is buried in the chest of a dead bandit behind her. The blade has a pommel that glows with a crimson light, and blood is trailing up the blade towards the grip.
The woman has platinum-blonde-almost-white hair bound in an unkempt, messy ponytail/braid that hasn't been fixed in a few days. She stares off into the distance with scorn on her face. Her eyes are scarlet, and her leather armor and tattered cloak are spattered with crimson.
She has a nine-tailed whip tied as her belt, and her armor is weathered and worn. She's a close-quarters fighter who uses blood magic to empower her abilities. Distant, aloof, and to-the-point except in battle."
Had tons of fun coming up with the design of this one! Big shoutout to the absolutely insane The Witcher 3 soundtrack for the inspiration haha, hope it doesn't show too much.
Thanks for looking!
do you take commissions?
Hmm, this is a very Kill Six Billion Demons look.
this is awesome
Knights plural? Are there more?
helmet needs padding and a chinstrap on the inside. Otherwise great armor
Someone’s been farming Teostra.
Holding the sword by the blade was a thing too. Provided more accuracy for stabbing and leverage for blocking. It was called Half-Swording
Then there was holding the blade completely upside down and smashing the helm with the crossguard or pommel.

I've been schooled. thanks for the lesson
Oh my god. A full helm on an armored woman? +1
Female knights are addressed as Dame, not Sir. (I realize the artist did this, it's still incorrect.)
It probably is technically correct but she could be one of those hard ass women who wants the masculine title.
I refer you to real knights. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dame
Is that Geralt in the background?
Looks like Sean Connery on the horse lmao. First Knight :p
I love this.
Reminds me of a ganmen from Gurren Lagan
Looks like there is a dude’s face on her breastplate. Maybe it’s an intelligent Legendary item and can talk.
Cirilla, but without a scar
(quality cosplay tho!)
For cosplay purposes, it is completely acceptable.
Yeah, it's cheaper, if you go that route, and it's easier to make, if you go the other. It also tends to look better because people use stainless steel which is nice and shiny.
I was just mocking my own pedantry.
It's a WIP, not final.
I should have mentioned that.
