Where's Arizona?

Where's Arizona?

You merely adopted the heat. We were born in it, molded by it. We didn't feel cold until...well we never have.

Needs more "It's a dry heat."

I feel personally attacked by this

There was like a day in January where I had to wear long pants.

Jeff Flake voted against saving Net-Neutrality

Jeff Flake voted against saving Net-Neutrality

Just thought I'd point this out considering he tried to make himself appear very "Anti-Trump". Every single Republican (save McCain (didn't vote) and 3 others) voted against Net Neutrality. Lets vote the guy out.

Edit: my esteemed colleague /u/ExLibrisMortis has pointed out Jeff Flake is not running for reelection. My recommendation would be to vote in non-establishment Democrats. We don't need a repeat of the 2016 primary.

Done.

Vote out Flake? He's not running for reelection...

Flake simply doesn’t care. I recall emailing him back when this first came up this go-round, and his response amounted to “you’re wrong, go away.”

his response

Like McCain’s vote matters. He’s about to die anyway.

That woman is batshit crazy.

That is putting it fairly mildly. I hope that the shameful legacy of her time in office follows her to every job and public interaction she has for the rest of her life.

Of course it is. Unless you're a naive, petulant child with no interest in honestly dealing with grown-up problems.

Well then, time to vote her ass out of there. Watching a movie on the governments dime while she's supposed to be making informed decisions on the future of the next generation.

You gotta love Flagstaff in May!

You gotta love Flagstaff in May!

I just had the last meeting for one of my college classes. "Have a good summer!" and then we walk out into this.

You gotta love the water we need so bad. Don't hate, enjoy.

Lmfao, at least the roads aren’t covered...yet. xD

Snowed on Mt. Lemmon north of Tucson last night too. Nuts!

I appreciate the effort but can we at least be honest with the numbers. Arizona funding per student is $9136.

Right... I support the effort entirely... but bad data helps the opposition. Further the comparison is insane... as the inmates are fed, clothed, boarded, and provided protection with their cost. It's just a terrible analogy.

The right analogy is what started this all off to begin with. Arizona pays teachers less than almost every other state, and our funding is less than it was in 2008. Use real facts, not emotional BS strawmen.

It’s not really fair to compare inmate costs to student costs. We don’t house, supervise and feed three meals a day to students in our schools in the same way as prison inmates.

It must depend on how it breaks down, AZCentral states $3,680 per student.

I'm guessing it's base vs. total spending once everything is added up?
