This looks great keep up the good work.
This reminds me a lot of hollow knight
Should I buy that game? Heard great stuff about it but I’m stingy with money lol.
Really scratched my Metroid itch, as it is open world, rather than linear levels, there's upgrades, and lots of different areas with different styles and tricks, so if you like metroid, probably worth it.
Now if only there were more like that...
And its not SUPER hard (Except for one, kind of optional, part that is...)
screaming from a distance YAR HAR FIDDLE DE DEEE, BEING A PIRATE IS ALRIGHT TO ME, DO WHAT YOU WANT 'CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE
Pretty much the entire day (from around 9:30 am - 8:30 pm, with a few hours break in between) so I guess 8-10 hours total?
HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE
That’s still a pretty short time for this masterpiece
Most screenshots in /sub/terraria are made from a horrible angle and not using the camera mode. This is just making fun of all of the people that do that. If you look far enough in the posts, you will find a picture like this.
You mean /sub/civ right?
I highly recommend the camera mode ingame. It lets you get block-perfect precision, automatically hides your UI, and doesn't limit the size of the picture.
There's a button that directly opens the folder that the captures are kept in as well, so you don't have to go finding where the image went.
By the way, another screenshot method you didn't mention is steam's built in screenshot system, which can be used by pressing f12.
I actually like this Subreddit very much because people don't care that much about stuff like this. Most comments are always positiv. Even if some posts are just stupid questions or bad screenshots of average buildings.
This whole Subreddit has a /sub/gatesareopencomeonin vibe. Let us not loose that.
Btw: I just want to point out that some terraria versions don't have the camera mode.
Starting a Expert world large pc looking for someone else to join
add me on steam:Zortheon we'll chat for a bit see if were a good fit to play together
Sent you an add.
*3 hours trying to get the fucccing hammer
Or sniper rifle /scope/ ninja gear
Dude for real. I've been in that damn dungeon trying to get Paladin's Shield and the Wisp In a Bottle and that one fire weapon for so long
Dear Terrarians, John 'TotalBiscuit' Bain, one of our own has passed away
Perhaps some don't know, but his 'Let's play Terraria' series with Jessie Cox played a large part in the early popularization of our game, and it is a series certainly worth to watch.
He very much loved this game, and occasionally lashed out harshly for the "2d minecraft" accusations.
To us, he was a friend, an enthusiastic gamer, a humorous commentator, an original content creator. To his loved ones, he was much much more.
Fellow Terrarians, we are not alone. We are a large family. And we stand together.
Very, very well said. I hope the devs of Terraria find a way to honor TB in the upcoming 1.3 patch -- item, monster, NPC, some kind of way to acknowledge his role in introducing people (myself included!) to the wonderful world of the game. Terraria is one of my favorite games of all time, and first (perhaps second) in number of hours played in my Steam library, and it would still be languishing at 22 minutes played if it hadn't been for TotalBiscuit and Jesse's YouTube series.
That series was absolutely fantastic. Every now and again I'll got back and watch the deaths montage just due to how funny it is. TB and Jesse had a fantastic dynamic
An item that increases how much of the screen you see.
Or the first time you open terraria after a major update
Or after not having played for a couple years.
I can relate to this on a very high level.
Quality shitposts are what keep this sub alive.
Nice! What is the roof made of?
Looks like painted stairs.
The space management of that house is incredible!
That looks like two columns of wood platforms hammered into stairs facing each other
Upvoted because it took me a while to realize this was a /sub/terraria post
Yeah, I was wondering why there was a picture of a tetris game on /sub/terraria for a solid minute.
The puzzle pieces are a checkerboard of painted white team player blocks and all the other player blocks also painted to make sure none of the pieces blend together or with themselves. The NES controller was fun, wire bulbs are good at symbolizing the dimples on the d-pad. Looks like this player is about to get a Tetris!
I'm not sure how a picture of me playing ROM Tetris got swapped for the build I meant to post hmm.
Seems like the perfect place to put the Angler.
The bastard deserves the hate.
I mean it still looks suitable so who cares really
