Petke for Commissioner!
“Drain my bank account. I don’t give a shit anymore” is my new go to line. Versatile
I was wondering why they didn't go to VAR on that. Did the VAR official really not see it? Seemed so obvious.
I really hate to be that guy but when you're 10th in the division on a bad run of form on an away game against literally the best team in the league and the game is still 0-0, defensive soccer is 100% the strategy.
Not a foul, choking is fiiiine /s
VAR in MLS is shitty.
Too bad the game was shit, would have been great if they put on a show on Fox.
I thought we weren't going to post Atlanta attendance record tweets anymore
Sounders fans and doing it first

We bunkered because we were down a man. If you had actually watched the game, you would have noticed a lot of attacking movements and forward passing going on from the Sounders prior to the red card. Also, I really hate the whole narrative of accusing defensively talented teams of "bunkering." So fucking stupid. Sorry you have to play against a wide variety of tactical styles, but contrary to popular belief amongst ATL fans, the league is actually not built for or around your team, so you'll just have to learn how to play against good defenses.
OK, so I am not going to read this thread and just assume that the 3.2k comments were nothing but people being super chill at each other.
GG Seattle, Everyone I met from there was super nice. Good luck with the rest of the season/next season.
As frustrating as it can be, this is the exact type of games ATL needs to be playing. ATL needs practice against bunkers plus Seattle has a top notch defense in MLS this season. Also, it's not just ATL that struggles against bunker teams. Look at NYRB, they are pretty shit against bunkers as well.
We did win. 1-1.
"Why would you encourage wiki vandalism?"
Because it amuses me.
As an academic, I'm instinctively compelled to correct your spelling of "cited".
Mike Petke is awesome, he's starting to remind me of the path that Lou Piniella went down . Little things like that really endear you to your players and the fans.
maybe the guy in the booth, wherever the hell he is, maybe he was watching the simpsons at the same time, I don't know....
I'll take the fine. Jeff Agoos, fine me....
Drain my bank account, I don't give a shit anymore
What a legend
I find it crazy/ballsy that the verified Real Salt Lake twitter account posted that
we need Petke in this league.
The RSL twitter account has always tried, successfully or not, to be one of the edgier accounts. I swear whoever runs it has drunk tweeted on it before.
Good lord we don't deserve Davies.
This kid will be leaving the Whitecaps in a few months...and I'm thrilled about it. Hope he does Vancouver and Canada proud wherever he goes.
Don't worry. He'll be in Europe soon.
DC: pretty sure we can stop Davies if we just put 4 guys on him the whole match.
Davies: hold my juice box...
Thanks for spamming these on all my posts. I posted only the good goals. Do you see me posting tap-ins? Thanks.
Wayne train running full steam ahead
Arriola-Asad-Rooney is gonna be a force.
Keep doing you, I like all the goals being posted. It's not like there's a ton of content to wade through in this sub
He can't keep getting away with it
