Has science gone too far?
We've hit the pinnacle of engineering in KSP.
What the Fuck
Made with Python Flask, kRPC, and an attitude control autopilot I wrote earlier.
Lol just turn on airplane mode.
That's cool as hell.
Hopefully you'll publish all of that on GitHub at some point.
This reminds me of playing the flying gamemode in Wii Sports Resort
Those poor, brave kerbonauts...
I'm rather pleased with how this one turned out. I do apologise for the gulf between this and the last one, I've been rather busy lately. As ever, feedback and constructive criticism is more than welcome. I hope you like it! :¬)
You can purchase this design in the form of a poster here https://www.redbubble.com/people/happysquiddy/works/31442615-kerbal-space-program-poster-jool?asc...
Great work, I see nothing but perfection
Those are amazing!
Stalin would be proud.
Okay, wasn't expecting that.
Nice job comrade
Now I am curious. Do Soviet capsules have snack compartments or did the famine hit those too?
Which mods have you used? Can you place this save on the workshop, I would like to have a closer look because they look absolutely amazing.
i don't think you know what "slightly" means, but i hope you know what "sexy" means because your crafts are it
agreed, as a beginner i could really use some inspiration
This cinematic is just insane! Incredible mastering of Camera Tools.
Lol I love that you refer to funds as "Spaceos"
Spesos for life.
Really neat! But I have two questions:
1) How does it construct ships?
2) What on earth is behind the sketch?!
1) Extraplanetary Launchpads 2) hush now
Seems aerodynamically sound
VTOL involves landing vertically too.
Unless of course that stays as one piece the whole time. In which case hats off to you.
Quite a lot of R&D was involved in growing this base this large and yet be capable of surviving timewarps without explosions. Double docking port interconnects and I-beams instead of landing legs are some of the results of this R&D. Any more ideas are appreciated!
Nice. I've just had to start ksp from the beginning due to a computer wipe. I've only played vanilla but want to go for the life support mod now and this seems like a great way to keep everything running away from kerbin
Multi-port docking is totally a thing in KSP. Useful for checking whether the modules are aligned with precision. At my scale, small inaccuracies causes parts to clip into the terrain when entering timewarp, causing explosions when leaving timewarp.
Landing legs deform under weight. This may cause root part to not face straight up, causing far away modules to clip into terrain when entering timewarp. Since I don't need suspension anyway, I used I-beams. They're cheaper too.
Double docking port interconnections are possible???
and I-beams instead of landing legs
Tell me more about this!
All of them
Wow, that’s awesome! What mods does this use?
Try nothin! I succeeded!
Did you just try to run down that poor innocent kerbal?
t4 bacteriophage! LOVE IT
Nice. Will it exponentially build copies of itself? Can it lift off and eventually infect other planets? Maybe it can cling to other spacecraft and travel with them? Or even infect the ships, causing them to overheat and spray other worlds with copies...
All my fuel extractors unintentionally look like them, shows natures ingenuity
