When you in the street and you push someone by accident or step on their shoes, you good? Is a threat
I can only think of two. "Are you ok?" and "It's alright."
Or when they ask if you want something and you say "you good"
I use "you good" to see if someone has bud I can buy
Can confirm. A lot of our slang is multi-use. For example, verga. It normally means penis (super vulgar). But it can also be used as such:
"Vete a la verga." Fuck off.
"Esta de la verga." Shit's fucked.
"Vale verga." It's useless/worthless.
"Soy bien verga." I'm great.
"Vergas!" Oh shit!
Context and tone.
Just like "orale" for the Latinos
when someone is screaming and yelling at you and they stop for a sec
Word. Same with word
It can also mean, "you tryna catch these hands?"
Context is everything.
Dang, i would get killed fast....
