With regards to this Joseph, I understand that with the decision of Bungie to release new update of the DLC: Curse of Osiris, some in-game activities that are available with the standard version of the game are now locked and requires the purchase of the $ 19.99 Expansion Pack. This would gain you access not just to these locked content but also to new maps like Mercury and Infinite Forest, you also get new story missions and adventures plus new themed weapons and armors to boot. There would be also be new multiplayer arenas where you can battle other players or team up with them on co-op missions. This will definitely take your Destiny 2 adventures to new heights. If anyone stepped in to ask Microsoft to stop refunding it would have been Activision. They are the publisher, managing that relationship is their job. Not Bungie's.
I had the same happen to to me on ps4. They said it'll be like TTK Lol.
I contacted Microsoft late last night (did not purchase DLC but was gonna try to stick it to Bungie). Support agent said they had received word from Activision (not Bungie) that something was going to be done about the issue and they could not issue a refund. The guy was very polite, but it sounds like someone at Activision comes on here to watch out for fuckups from Bungie. I was just amazed at the response time from the parent company

I’ve seen so many people on /sub/ps4 completely defending microtransactions/lootboxes and calling everyone against them “crusaders” and “idiots”. Most are defending Battlefront because their Star Wars boner is so big, but a lot are defending eververse as well.
It makes me so sad that this is the future we are going to be stuck with. Too many people want to “throw money at the screen” and “speaking with our wallets” isn’t going to do shit with those people around.
