There's a few things wrong with your statement. There is no "cure" for cancer. Cancer is a blanket term for many different types of cell mutations that happen over time and due to environmental and genetic factors. Treatments for cancer have improved exponentially over the past few decades. As far as the advancement in medical science being profitable that's just how the world works but that's also the reason for the vast majority of advancements in all aspects of society in the past few centuries. Also you probably wanted to say profitable and not profitability.
