Rape Analogy

Rape Analogy

I thought "butthurt" referred to wounded pride, i.e. one's butt would hurt after falling from his or her high horse.

Nah, it has to do with being spanked. Usually when you say someone is butthurt you're implying that they're overreacting and behaving childishly.

... don't say butt hurt

... "Fucking asshole"

Everything is a rape analogy, shitlord. Especially when it's being used by someone who is beating me in an argument.

TIL the only way one's butt can get hurt is through rape.

Over 9000 penises!!!!!!

I thought it referred to how people with chronic ass-pains tend to get angry over every little thing

It's not hypocritical because she's using it to slay the oppressive Patriarchy! Know your place cishet scum.

I always thought your butt hurt cause you just got your arse kicked.

What a bugger

Furniture rapes proud womyn every day.

I thought it was a reference to the way someone feels after I violently rape them in the anus.

... Huh, I always thought it stemmed from a rape analogy commonly used in online gaming and such.

Like, "You just got fucked in the ass!" hence the butthurt.

I don't know how a more innocuous ass-kicking never occurred to me.

All heterosexual sex is LITERALLY rape, shitlord. It's not an analogy. It's LITERAL.

Yeah, no need to be so anal.

Oh my, yes.

Can't consensual buttfucking also hurt?

Can anyone on tumblr even define the word analogy? I mean ignoring the fact that "butt hurt" doesn't even have anything to do with rape, THAT'S NOT A FUCKING ANALOGY. An allusion maybe, but not an analogy.

And rape analogies are alway bad right, like say when a sjw makes an analogy between consensual kink sex and rape? Oh those aren't the same thing? Because you said so? Well damn, TiL.

The way SJWs use "literal" is LITERALLY figurative.

No, I think you're right. That's the way I always used it.

But I also liked to talk about how I would blow your dad and call you a faggot. I'm the worst at trash talk.

No. Just no.

Literally is LITERALLY literal.

Literally is LITERALLY literal.

Literally is LITERALLY literal.

Literally is LITERALLY literal.

I think being butt raped does actually justify a pretty big reaction

What ever happened to /u/everythingisrape? Or was that an account I had a dream about when I spent too much time here?

He was finishing the line

They need to take the oppression rod out of their arse

The dictionary was written by oppressive cishet white men, shitlord.

Wow, I honestly thought that calling someone butthurt was meant to mean that they were over reacting to being butt raped.

----Reserved for good ass joke----

IKEA forces swedish cultural imperialism on us everyday.

Andrea Dworkin is the one who popularized the whole "all heterosexual sex is rape" theory. This is what she looked like. Enough said.

Andrea Dworkin is the one who popularized the whole "all heterosexual sex is rape" theory. Enough said.

Basically, it's impossible to give consent if you're being oppressed by your partner. All women are oppressed by all men. It is impossible for any woman to give consent to any man.

So, only homo- and not hetero- sex is ok, because the participants are... equal?

Yes, well. Now you know. Consider yourself educated.

Ah yes, I forgot that the White Man had officially driven women and proud PoC's out of even English degrees. Now all they have is gender studies and feelz

/u/Everything_Is_Rape might be the one.

This is my favorite theory

Butthurt has been around longer than vidya games. A lot of the senior citizens where I live, the American Southwest, are quite fond of the term.

I thought it meant you have a stick up your ass....

Fight me IRL, bitch. I'll punch you right in the mouth. With my mouth. Softly.

But... but it's not your job to educate me.

"You know how I know you're gay? Because your dick tastes like shit"

And they're all raping children.

Wouldn't do to half-ass it.

What was her reasoning in saying all hetero sex is rape? Cause that's just fucking out there.

Oh. Well, it's there for anyone else like me who didn't get the reference.

Excuse me miss, can I get my comeback so I don't leave DNA?

"I'm gonna suck your dick you faggot!"

In fairness to Dworkin, that's not actually what she said. She was mainly criticizing depictions of sex in pornography and popular media, not actual sex had by real people in their actual sexual relationships. Furthermore, that interpretation comes from her detractors, and she qualified it significantly in response:

Citing from both pornography and literature—including The Kreutzer Sonata, Madame Bovary, and Dracula—Dworkin argued that depictions of intercourse in mainstream art and culture consistently emphasized heterosexual intercourse as the only kind of "real" sex, portrayed intercourse in violent or invasive terms, portrayed the violence or invasiveness as central to its eroticism, and often united it with male contempt for, revulsion towards, or even murder of, the "carnal" woman. She argued that this kind of depiction enforced a male-centric and coercive view of sexuality, and that, when the cultural attitudes combine with the material conditions of women's lives in a sexist society, the experience of heterosexual intercourse itself becomes a central part of men's subordination of women, experienced as a form of "occupation" that is nevertheless expected to be pleasurable for women and to define their very status as women.[60]

Such descriptions are often cited by Dworkin's critics, interpreting the book as claiming "all" heterosexual intercourse is rape, or more generally that the anatomical mechanics of sexual intercourse make it intrinsically harmful to women's equality. For instance, Cathy Young[61] says that statements such as, "Intercourse is the pure, sterile, formal expression of men's contempt for women,"[59] are reasonably summarized as "All sex is rape".

Dworkin rejected that interpretation of her argument,[62] stating in a later interview that "I think both intercourse and sexual pleasure can and will survive equality"[63] and suggesting that the misunderstanding came about because of the very sexual ideology she was criticizing: "Since the paradigm for sex has been one of conquest, possession, and violation, I think many men believe they need an unfair advantage, which at its extreme would be called rape. I do not think they need it."[63]

rape is to rape as rape is to rape

I had no clue. Thank you for the reference.

Can't consent if you're being oppressed now can you?

A Sassy Gay Shitlord called zwiebelsaft who confirms the potential hurtfulness of consensual buttfucking...

Words fail me! This is great!

Someone certainly sounds rape analogy.

Depends if you're dry smashing the shitbox.

I thought it was from a spanking.

Dworkin was one of the founders of radical feminism and sex negative feminism.

I called the cops, I'm worried about you :/

I imagine SJWs think that way because they can't get any and are jealous of those who do.

It sounds like there's quite a few ways to interpret it.

IKEA is literally the seventeenth coming of King Charles. All hail Carolus.

This is why we shouldn't have taken analogies off the SAT. So preteens named "grrrlfever" wouldn't misuse words like "analogy".

That comment was so loose butthole

I think either points were the reason for the word. Either way, I don't understand how people think it was meant to be able anal sex. I mean, anal sex isn't supposed to be painful if done properly in the first place, and not to mention, why is this person saying that anal sex is rape? It could surely be, but you can obviously have somewhat painful anal sex that you agreed to having.

So it only existed from when you were aware of it right you are.

Funny thing being I remember it preinternet days, but you say so so it wipes out that I suppose.
