I'd rather spend another $6 trillion on wars in the middle east that create more terrorists. thats where the real action is.
Each dome would have soft cells that would fill with water to help protect inhabitants from radiation, manage heat loads and supply water to both fish and produce farms. The domes would also have solar panels to generate clean energy for charging hydrogen fuel cells and splitting water to create rocket fuel,
Water cells and material technology would block the radiation.
To be fair, most early Mars habitations will be simple as they're not trying to entice the average person to move there -- they're there as homes for the people that already want to go.
Exactly, how could it survive, let alone grow? Judging by its size it looks to be about 30+ years old, are they going to import them? To my eye those habitats in the video seem rather mundane, not to say sterile, gonna have to ramp that up for me to live there.
