If y'all are mad, there are over 600 protests happening on Thursday at Verizon stores all across the country. Get out in the streeeeeeeets! http://verizonprotests.com/
I'd say this is like Vader reporting back to the Emperor, except that Pai is a smug little weenie with an intensely punchable face and lacks any of Vader's redeeming qualities.
Clearly he's going back to HQ to recharge. Soon with unexpected revenue they'll have the cash to build one with better range.
See you guys Thursday at the Jamboree and Michelson!
Fuck this guy.
Their HQ is probably a better place: 15505 Sand Canyon Ave Bldg D (in the back behind iherb)
Democracy has been hijacked and we need to take it back
Vader’s redeeming qualities
His ability to clear padawan from a room is par none.
Where is diz?
Can anyone and everyone who gives a shit about net neutrality and lives near there show up and make some damn noise, maybe surrounded his car and not let him out or do something
Edit:typo corrected. Also it seems this conference is happening in Washington, DC so any people in DC who can show should.
Ajit Pai is such a fuckin dildo.
A new robot for a more elegant age.*
*The teeth thing has been fixed.
There needs to be actual cpnsequences to his actions. Otherwise he or someone else will just go at it again.
Put him in jail and throw away the key. Show people there's a price to pay if you fuck wirh our freedom.
I took him to a brewery once and he demolished all of the Yeunglings.
More like Salacious Crumb reporting back to Jabba.
Huh, seems like a conflict of interest no?
How much money ya got? That's what it's gonna take...
Make him pay tolls to leave his house, use his car, buy stuff from the store. Make his life what ours will be when this shit-eating cunt tries to ruin our country's livelihood.
Damn I feel bad for the verizon employees. Especially right after THEIR strikes.
Eh, fuck Verizon tho
VZ HQ and all corporate buildings are heavily locked down. Would have to protest outside.
Worked for them for 6 years.
Pai used to work for Verizon as a lawyer.
What a surprise.
Violence is usually the answer.
I would just hope that no one attempts to attack/threaten/or otherwise assault any Verizon employees.
For as shit as the company is, and for how deserving their high level management/CEO/etc. are of every drop of criticism you can throw their way, the people in the stores have nothing to do with any of that, be they tellers or store managers.
I hope someone sneaks out a recording of this.
Lying to the American public about the nature of the Title II regulations? Misrepresenting the will of the people? Claiming that messages in support of Net Neutrality are false and the result of "hackers" and failing to cooperate with investigations into these supposedly hacked comments, while knowingly using ACTUAL false comments to further the initiatives of the corporations who have bought his voice?
All this while holding an office that is supposed to provide fair regulation of the internet and other broadcast networks, and taking a salary of taxpayer dollars.
Lock him in a dark hole, and let him rot. Let him serve as an example to anyone else who would take a position of political power in the interest of furthering a power-grab by corporations and the greedy.
I don't see one happening there? Closest is Michelson Drive in Irvine.
If only it were that simple.

Add a comment to the repeal here (and here's an easier URL you can use thanks to John Oliver)
You can also use this to help you contact your house and congressional reps. It's easy to use and cuts down on the transaction costs with writing a letter to your reps
You can support groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the ACLU and Free Press who are fighting to keep Net Neutrality:https://www.eff.org/ https://www.aclu.org/ https://www.freepress.net/ https://www.fightforthefuture.org/ https://www.publicknowledge.org/ https://www.demandprogress.org/
Also check this out, which was made by the EFF and is a low transaction cost tool for writing all your reps in one fell swoop.
Most importantly, VOTE. This should not be something that is so clearly split between the political parties as it affects all Americans, but unfortunately it is.
Because the people fucking with internet policy at this level never engage with the internet on any meaningful level.
Box him in on the highway and drive reeeeal slow.
Sorry, I was incorrect.. I'll be at the Michelson store!
... In such numbers that nobody can enter or leave.
Put the corrupt parties under siege.
Also an ok solution. Protest outside.
Well then I know a certain Ajit Pai who will be sleeping with mommy tonight.
It doesn't conflict with his interests..
When this happened in Hungary people rioted.
They didn't protest.
They fucking rioted.
in this version, mugs will now be at the proper scale.
I sure hope no employee or contractor sneaks in a microphone attached to another carriers service and lets us all hear what our public servant is saying
He can pay to enter the fast lane.
Holy shit, other people in Irvine use Reddit?
As a former 14 year mid-level Verizon employee, I wish everyone knew how utterly evil that company truly is . From watching H1 visa replacements come in one after another and watching their American counterparts train them to replace them. To the rolling reduction in forces that happen every few months now . From AOL, to Oath, to go 90, to Yahoo and Hum and Multi million dollar blunder after multi million dollar blunder .Holding no executives accountable and simply laying off head count each time . While I worked there we had countless email propaganda messages sent to us telling us how net neutrality was propaganda and media spin. It is truly one of the worst companies in America.
We don't live in democracy, we live in the illusion that we are in a democracy.
People in America don’t have the balls for it. I really believe that’s what it’ll eventually take
Why can't hackers ever get good info on these people?
What about his very punchable face?
Worked for the French.
That's oddly appropriate.
The second amendment is the sole reason those without money will not be oppressed.
The protest site I RSVP’d to made clear that we were after the corporation and it’s execs, not the workers. And to treat them with respect if you see them.
Seriously, so many dipshit comments, and you're the only person with a brain in this thread? How easy would it be to fuck over the vote if someone was able to get something good on tape for the public? The outcry would be enormous.
Why not just allow them to literally collect weekly or biweekly paychecks from the companies they are working for?
What? Think the GOP base might catch on if they literally start cashing Verizon checks while being government employees? I'm not so sure there is a need for even the slightest subtleties these days. Send my man Ajit Pai those eight figure 'consulting fees', he earned it, Verizon.
i hear if you can get 2 tin cans and tie a string between them you can use them to communicate over a distance... this has an added benefits of 1) not using any energy 2) reusing tin cans and keeping them out of the landfill... if fallout has taught me anything is that tin cans are everywhere should be easy and quick to get the message out...
Any Verizon moles on reddit that wants to let the world know what he says?
Yeah I fucking hate it when people jump to that. You are really going to start shooting at other Americans over policy that can be undone again? Most people on reddit have fathers that are republican, you gonna shoot your dad or something?
The check is written. He can visit it but he can't have it until the vote passes.
Great idea, how do we communicate that to everyone?
Complete with as he contemplates putting his master's plan into effect in the coming days...
Edit: corrected the damned phone.
Tolls are handy way to get a disproportionate amount of taxation from poor people.
Same with the lottery and traffic tickets.
That sounds like more of a compliment than I’m sure you originally intended
Wow. That just looks so....incestuous?
At least wait until after the vote to make a visit. How can someone not think his strings are being pulled by Verizon et al?
Family wasn't even harassed. There was a sign put outside of his house.
The California gold rush ended in 1855, I’m sorry to tell you my friend.
Are they going to take turns sucking his dick?
No, he will be the one doing the sucking. He just loves all that green spunk.
You kid, but they literally changed the main highway into downtown DC to all tolled during rush hour just yesterday.
I thought it was bar none
As a redditor, he's fucking with the internet.
That is my sex life.
Dude needs to get Romney'd hard.
Plus two cans and a string doesn’t require a Verizon plan
Seriously. They’re not even trying to hide it at this point.
It's always been the cost-effective solution
It's a feature, not a bug.
The whole point of this whole thing is to get more and more powerful and rich and enjoy the suffering of the common people, and it's more fun if the face you are using to do all this is very very punchable so that people get excessively angry that they can't punch it.
I hope nobody throw tea on him and a bunch of baking soda.
That's actually a feature for the Telecom Shill-Bots!
So much gold holy shit!
Um. Civil war, anyone?
Stores seem like they'd be a little more visible to the public eye, vs some office building buried somewhere in a professional park.
I think the whole idea of Verizon stores is that Ajit Paid used to work for verizon as a lawyer and is so obviously on their side/bought by isps.
Yes. Kylo Ren reporting for Snookie.
Well if there are no legal recourse for this injustice then we honestly have to resort to illegal means. There was nothing legal about what our forefathers did. The constitutional convention was literal treason.
Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution punishable by U.S. Code Title 18. Fuck this guy for what he's attempting to do to the ideals of the country I love.
"We did it, guys!"
Take pics, post on reddit, and PLEASE someone contact the local news channel to try and spread this bad PR for verizon!
We live in a time where people think it’s okay to run down protestors with their car. I’ll pick and choose my riots. Thank you.
He's the head of an independent agency of the US government being paid large amounts of money by cooperation's to lie to American public about internet freedom. But no..nothing illegal. Just a scumbag puppet who most of us would like to never see again.
Nah him being a dildo would imply he can be used for sex. I dont think anyone would want to have that anywhere near their sex life.
I was seduced by the Dark Side.
....why protest stores? Why not a headquarters? Have people really forgotten how to effectively organize? Or are you a shill leading people to protest at the worst possible places?
And he will again....
I'll be there.
Of course. They'd change them to authorizing military force against US targets.
The protests explicitly say to be nice to the employees. People working retail don't deserve to be shit upon.
I hope he drops dead on stage. It’s sad how many politicians I’m praying have brain aneurysms. Best case scenario for the future of the US is that the entirety of Congress starts flying Malaysia Air...
We're gonna protest the shit out of this, right?
That implies that Pai cares what people thinks.
He knows he's getting an easy win and doesn't care what the impression is.
It's like that saying, "Do you think a lion feels empathy for a gazelle?"
Except this is more like a flesh-eating bacterium, literal living scum, feeding on the toddler that is the collective US population
If the second amendment and gun ownership guaranteed freedom from tyranny then the USA would be more free today than any point in history.
I'm not saying it's bad, but it certainly isn't the safeguard for freedom that proponents seem to think.
This is your source:
He's also wrong, as AT&T and Verizon already successfully sued to block the FTC from exercising these powers, which was one of the reasons net neutrality became a need in the first place.
Edit: FCC, not FTC.
I also shot down the article, smart guy.
In your mind you did... Im sure.
Yeah, forgive me for being swayed by real things like facts and actuality.
