Bayonetta 3 announced for Nintendo Switch

Bayonetta 3 announced for Nintendo Switch

Bayonetta 3 is here baby !!! Switch exclusive !

Reggie sure knows how to hype up an audience

So Bayonetta is totally a Nintendo thing now?

Reggie loves all of his children.

Bayo 3, smtv, octopath, fire emblem, Kirby.

Japanese games on switch in 2018 seems so strong.

Well, they did singlehandedly save the series pretty much by funding 2. Also she's in Smash, so...

A fucking exclusive at that!

Everybody always thinks everything is Smash though.

That’s why he gets paid the big bucks!

I am so ready to be judged for playing this in public.

Nintendo making dreams come true!!!!

tiddies for the kiddies

His body is ready, and his children are many.

Nintendo fucking killed it this Game Awards, Holy shit!

So, anyone remember the salt flow that occurred back when Bayo 2 was announced as exclusive to Wii U? Let it flow again.

I mean 2 is a Nintendo exclusive so it was definitely expected.

I mean Death Strandings new trailer was amazing as well.

I smell a new meme...

Everyone probably thought it was Smash

apology for poor english

when were you when wallet dies?

i was sat at home eating pizza when pjotr ring

‘wallet is kill’

The Nintendo Witch coming to the Nintendo Switch!!!

We also might be getting another Yoshi game, not to mention I'm sure Nintendo is pressuring Game Freak to get Pokemon Switch out for holiday next year.

Of course it is, exclusive titles help drive switch sales which in turn help drive 3rd party devs to make competent ports for their games.

An exclusive like this is a great thing.

Yep, Nintendo's for the kiddies right?

Super Mario TV!

All your favorite shows, but with Mario characters!

Nintendo never funded an MGS game when no one else would though.

Hahahaha this is right. Even when Smash 5 comes out, at next Reggie's speech people will think he'll announce Smash 6..

Shin Megami Tensei

Thank you. I was sitting here trying to figure out what smtv stands for. I was going with "Super Mario somethingsomething."

Note: Bayonetta 3 is a Switch exclusive.

They are, they release in February

He really does.

Dude, I'm not even kidding. Watch the live reactions at the Nintendo Store, where every millisecond of silence is replaced with at least a handful of people going "Smash? Smash? Smash?"

It's really obnoxious.

Reggie with the "One more thing" and drops a Bayonetta 3 bomb. Jesus, what a night for Nintendo here

Japan has been kicking the West's ass lately. While Activision and EA are busy killing off single player games and trying to figure out how to best exploit their player base, Japanese companies like Square Enix, Sega, Capcom, and Bandai-Namco are rediscovering the treasured franchises they are sitting on, and trying to capitalize on what people have loved about their franchises for so long.

They realized that chasing trends was profoundly hurting them, and turned around from it.

I'm hype for that game even though I have literally no idea what's going on

Shin Megami Tensei in 2018? They confirmed this?

No we don't shutup I hate you

Well it was certainly a smashing announcement nonetheless

Oh yeah definitely. Zelda, Bayo Switch, and Death Stranding. My pants are sufficiently gone.

This 100%. Whether you like it or not console gaming is fueled by exclusives.

Snake was in Smash, but Metal Gear Solid hasn't been a Nintendo thing in decades.

but that does not mean i would like people without one not be able to play it.

Why should I feel sympathetic for people who throw insults at Nintendo for funding the sequel? It's the only reason the franchise didn't die. That's all there was when Bayonetta 2 was announced, a big stream of "fuck Nintendo for stealing Bayonetta away from us".

I just don't get it. Them funding Bayonetta 2 was what solely got me back to their side, after how I left because of the Wii.

Nintendo is solely responsible for draining my bank account!

/u/breathefireworks - you are now complete!

These posts are so dumb given that many of us own multiple consoles anyways.

You win.

do you really get off telling people what they should and shouldnt care about? do your parents and friends know you spend your time doing that on reddit

1 was published by SEGA 2 was published and funded by Nintendo. This is why it'll stay exclusive

Now bring over 1 and 2 and I'll feel complete again

After Super Mario Cereal I don't doubt this Netflix exclusive.

All this news is making me faint, I melee down.

Every time I see a "Smash?!" comment, I just hear it in the tone of those seagulls from Finding Nemo.

Regi teasing one more announcement and it's Bayo 3. My mind was going wild for a moment. Happy we get more Bayo though.

If there showing that here then what the hell are they saving for the direct next month?! The hype is gonna kill me lmao.

I just feel it's weird to be happy, that other people DON'T get to play a game

I'm just happy the game exists in the first place.

. Also, it's always the vocal minority on the internet, those from your example.

Usually, but there were hundreds of people complaining about Bayonetta 2. It was surreal. I spent a long time looking through those messages to try and understand why they were angry.

No need to be angry at all gamers for that.

No one said that here though.

Pokémon next year is really optimistic. (But then I laughed when they said Xenoblade would be out this year, so 🤷🏻‍♂️)

It feels so good

Might? It's confirmed

Actually wet dreams

Nintendo as well.

People have been doing open world for so long. The west has been the bastion for the best open world games and botw came and literally just show how good these kinda games can be and shows what the west has not been doing.

Hey don’t forget No More Heroes

Wooly World was really good. Give it a try if you haven't.

Well, there's a good chance that without Nintendo we'd have no Bayonetta since they famously saved the series when nobody else wanted to publish the second one.

So, to answer your question, what we gain is the mere existence of more than one game in the series.

I'm more speaking about changes. Nintendo being a good developer has kind of been an industry constant. But if you remember during the 7th gen, a lot of Japanese developers fell off. Really the only 3rd parties that had any sort of consistency in that time were Bandai-Namco and Atlus. And even Bandai-Namco stumbled plenty.

That's exactly why I'm hyped lol

So nintendo is the main home for bayonetta. Yeah! I'm sure they are funding it and I'm so happy it's on the switch. And portable! The hype cannot be contained.

No need to apologise, we all understood perfectly.

That normally happens, when a series that goes exclusive after it started. It also happens when a game that was typically nintendo only, goes to another console... should the salt flow then too?

I love bayonetta and think it deserves to be on switch, but that does not mean i would like people without one not be able to play it.

This is it we're back to the Golden age for Nintendo!
