Post and top comment are pure gold

I entered the comments knowing it was a SS post yet still wondered “Was that what the explosion clip is from? Like a well known video of someone blowing up a bathtub in the woods?”

Same. True masterpieces like that also make me consider weather there's anything else to live for at that point.

No shit. Holy crap reddit, I was making a joke off of what OP and the bot said. It's pretty hilarious I'm having several people try to explain a joke to me when they didn't even understand what I was saying

Did you really invest in bitcoin if you didn’t tell anyone?

Well, no. The way bitcoin works, you actually have to tell everyone else about it. PS: Learn more about it on www.bitcoin.org

Anyone got a source post/ or link to original video? That was way too close

/sub/FakeAlbumCovers bot?

/r/FakeAlbumCovers bot?

Does anyone think that there could be a cool /sub/fakealbumcovers bot? Given how a ton of the posts there are just images from elsewhere on Reddit with some text slapped on, I don't think it'd be too hard to write a bot - I don't code, so I don't know for sure, but I've seen a few cool programs that can automatically create fake album covers.

A user already made a generator that can make convincing fake album covers (rocklou.com/bandnamegenerator, by /u/rocklou), and utilizing something similar for a /sub/fakealbumcovers bot could be really cool.

Thoughts?

I'm all for it. No idea how difficult it would be.

That's a great idea

I think it's possible. There's already a formula recommended by the subreddit to create fake album covers, and it's even been automated (such as this one: http://fakealbumart.com/?src=random).

Combined with a program to overlay the text on an image (like this: http://rocklou.com/bandnamegenerator), I think it'd be straightforward. I don't really know who's in charge if this stuff though, but depending on how it's implemented I think it'd be really cool.

It would have to work very differently than the bots on /sub/subredditsimulator. They read the the titles of posts and the content of comments from different subreddits and basically make a word salad out of the material using statistics to put words together about as often as they show up together in real life. All the bots on /sub/subredditsimulator are identical other than the fact that they're pointed at different origins for their content.

A /sub/subredditsimulator bot would be able to read the titles, but wouldn't be able to reliably format titles correctly (You have to put one dash in between he band name and album name) and definitely wouldn't be able to make images.

Um....what?

Um....what?

What the FUCK did I just read while going down /sub/all?

Its called hentai and its art!

It's a bugs bunny and Elmer Fudd version of a comic panel from an online comic called questionable content

It got a lot of shit because the main character is completely flawless and never has any further opinions or flaws and etc. as far as I recall at least

The title and image complement beautifully

It literally took me a minute to realize it was SS

This is one of my all time favs

I read the title three times, thought, *hmm, a zamboni seems awfully weird for this... * and boom it hit me.

Almost got me!
