The sad truth is it doesn't matter if they're taking screenshots of cell phone games and claiming it's footage of a real military operation, billions of people on this world won't know the difference.
We put men on the moon almost half a century ago, and we've gotten so dumb since then that millions believe it never happened simply because someone on Twitter said so
The moon landing conspiracy was around decades before twitter.
And were millions of people discussing it before twitter?
I'm not saying Twitter invented the conspiracy, just that it's enabled the conspiracy to be easily spread to millions of suckers.
One thing about the Russians. They have some brilliant military minds, some world-class spies, some elite hackers. But they also have a lot of drunk, lazy fucks. We're starting to see what the B Team is like.
The Latest: Sessions doesn’t recall talk with Carter Page
How the Fuck can the Chairman say that:
"Sessions can answer how he wants."
I think it would be a fair question to maybe start with everything he does remember. It seems like it could be a shorter list.
We can sum this up very easily: I only remember things that won't get me into trouble.
“I don’t recall” ctrl x + ctrl v
That would require work. She doesn’t work.
I know you're a troll but for anyone else's information who didn't read the article, this is about fraud on the part of for-profit schools:
Senate Democrats are urging Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to forgive the federal student loans of borrowers who were defrauded by their colleges
"Im just here to collect money"
Because the government decided fraudulent schools were good enough to be allowed federal student loans to begin with.
The investigation uncovered widespread failures by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to automatically update voters’ address changes, systemic noncompliance by Arizona’s public assistance agencies in distributing voter registration applications, and extensive problems with regard to agencies’ handling of documentary proof of citizenship, which is required by Arizona law to vote in state and local elections. The investigation also found that many state agencies are not providing voter registration information in Spanish and Native American languages as required by the Voting Rights Act.
These violations may explain why Arizona public assistance agencies have reported a nearly 60 percent drop in voter registration applications over the past decade-and-a-half, despite significant increases in benefits applications.
Red state things.
Let me be the first to say, as a former Arizonan, I am completely shocked. Next you'll tell me the sky is blue.
Arizona was restricted by the voting rights act due to a history of discriminatory practices in their elections, until that key section was deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in 2013. What we need is an amendment that all election infrastructure is overseen and audited by the federal government annually, and changes need to be approved by an apolitical body.
Me before clicking article: "I'm sure it is some pretty far off connection and this is a little clickbaity."
"The State Department awarded the $2.8 million contract to Elite Security Holdings, a company co-founded by retired Russian general Viktor Budanov... Budanov, 82, previously led Soviet counterintelligence as the head of the KGB, where he oversaw now-Russian President Vladimir Putin when he was a young intelligence officer."
Me now: "That wasn't clickbaity at all... in fact, it wasn't clickbaity enough!"
Better headline: Former Russian General that Commanded Vladimir Putin now in Charge of Security of US Embassy
To everyone who thought Rex Tillerson was going to be patriotic and put the American people first just because he called Trump a "fucking moron", think again.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence, and that ANY CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING BECAUSE OBAMA HILLARY! FAKE NEWS, DURR, FAKE NEWS! I AM AN IDIOT SO I SHOUT FAKE NEWS AT THINGS THAT MAKE ME ANGWY!
Putin’s Mentor at KGB and former Russian General now in charge of security of US embassy and safety of staff.
SNL will have to re-do their entire bit on Weekend Update which is a shame because Eric loves fun dip
It's fitting that the only person stupider than Donald Trump is also named Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump isn't even the stupidest person named Donald Trump!"
If you haven't read the 'Trump Brothers' series from The Onion, you're in for a real treat. Here's just a taste:
“I’d like to see Mueller try to make us testify! We’ve got everything we need to outlast him: Froot Loops, my Nintendo DS, super glue, juice, a spool of real fishing line, a bike pump. I even brought a picture of the whole family so we’ll never forget what they look like.”
Specifically, if you believe the women accusing Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, why did you ignore the women who accused presidential candidate Donald Trump? If you’re troubled by Moore’s alleged behavior, why were you so nonchalant about Trump’s?
she's waiting repubs. - what's your answer.
If they had spoken up against Trump, they would've definitely lost the presidential election. One Senator, who still has a good chance of winning, doesn't hurt them nearly as much. Plus, midterms are closer now and sexual assault/harassment is much bigger news now(thank you Mr Weinstein Ms. McGowan).
Nothing hurts the republican base more than having a librul president molest and abuse his second amendment.
Vote Roy Moore - He will touch your kids but not your guns!
Because losing a senate seat is more palatable to losing a president. Also, if Moore wins they will all forget his actions.
Now that it is official, I assume that conservative media will stop referencing them for news right?
Yeah... Though Im pretty sure a shit ton of those people were Russian trolls and some of us took a lot of the bait.
Next: Why BBC doesn't count; we like their lies!
out? out? out?
This is great. Religion, specifically hard right Christianity, has become a cancer in our political body. Every single vestige of it needs to be cut out.
A French woman seeking to become a US citizen, has filed a lawsuit to remove the phrase “So help me God” from the oath of citizenship because she is an atheist.
Olga Paule Perrier-Bilbo, 48, a French national and green card holder, has been living in Scituate, Massachusetts, since 2000. She is determined to forego her French citizenship and instead became an American, but claims the oath she needs to swear violates the US constitution.
True. But the point is, she has to opt out. Meaning she must deviate from the norm.
The norm should not include religion.
Remove it, and let the religious opt in.
One of Ms Perrier-Bilbo’s lawyers is Michael Newdow, who in 2000 failed when he sued his child’s school district to remove the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance. He also filed unsuccessful lawsuits to remove the phrase “In God We Trust” from American currency and prevent “So help me God” from being included in the Presidential oath of office.
Who the hell is this guy Michael Newdow...I like him, I like him a lot
I was listening to this exchange on my way into work today. It was good to hear the AG basically tell them there is no "factual basis" of the claims against Clinton.
Edit: If you would like the video of the exchange, it can be found
Fox News: "Sessions didn't say there is definitely not enough basis to appoint a Special Counsel for Hillary Clinton."
"So you're saying there's still a chance?" - Fox News
“It would take a factual basis that meets the standards of the appointment of a special counsel,” Sessions said.
