Specifically, if you believe the women accusing Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, why did you ignore the women who accused presidential candidate Donald Trump? If you’re troubled by Moore’s alleged behavior, why were you so nonchalant about Trump’s?
she's waiting repubs. - what's your answer.
If they had spoken up against Trump, they would've definitely lost the presidential election. One Senator, who still has a good chance of winning, doesn't hurt them nearly as much. Plus, midterms are closer now and sexual assault/harassment is much bigger news now(thank you Mr Weinstein Ms. McGowan).
Nothing hurts the republican base more than having a librul president molest and abuse his second amendment.
Vote Roy Moore - He will touch your kids but not your guns!
Because losing a senate seat is more palatable to losing a president. Also, if Moore wins they will all forget his actions.
Now that it is official, I assume that conservative media will stop referencing them for news right?
Yeah... Though Im pretty sure a shit ton of those people were Russian trolls and some of us took a lot of the bait.
Next: Why BBC doesn't count; we like their lies!
out? out? out?
This is great. Religion, specifically hard right Christianity, has become a cancer in our political body. Every single vestige of it needs to be cut out.
A French woman seeking to become a US citizen, has filed a lawsuit to remove the phrase “So help me God” from the oath of citizenship because she is an atheist.
Olga Paule Perrier-Bilbo, 48, a French national and green card holder, has been living in Scituate, Massachusetts, since 2000. She is determined to forego her French citizenship and instead became an American, but claims the oath she needs to swear violates the US constitution.
True. But the point is, she has to opt out. Meaning she must deviate from the norm.
The norm should not include religion.
Remove it, and let the religious opt in.
One of Ms Perrier-Bilbo’s lawyers is Michael Newdow, who in 2000 failed when he sued his child’s school district to remove the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance. He also filed unsuccessful lawsuits to remove the phrase “In God We Trust” from American currency and prevent “So help me God” from being included in the Presidential oath of office.
Who the hell is this guy Michael Newdow...I like him, I like him a lot
I was listening to this exchange on my way into work today. It was good to hear the AG basically tell them there is no "factual basis" of the claims against Clinton.
Edit: If you would like the video of the exchange, it can be found
Fox News: "Sessions didn't say there is definitely not enough basis to appoint a Special Counsel for Hillary Clinton."
"So you're saying there's still a chance?" - Fox News
“It would take a factual basis that meets the standards of the appointment of a special counsel,” Sessions said.
"Oh, wait! NOW I remember! Sorry I forgot about this all those other times I was under oath."
I recall only after there was evidence.
January 10, 2017
SEN. AL FRANKEN: "If there was any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this (2016) campaign, what would you do?," the Minnesota Democrat asked.
SESSIONS: "I'm not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians."
Lock him up.
Dear @DonaldJTrumpJr our offer of being ambassador to the US still stands. I could open a hotel style embassy in DC with luxury immunity suites for whistleblowers. The public will get a turbo-charged flow of intel about the latest CIA plots to undermine democracy. DM me.#vault8
~ Julian Assange, 8:33 AM, Nov 14, 2017
I.... I don't even know what to say anymore.
Oh it's all a big joke now, pay no attention to our Reddit AMA:
The allegations that we have colluded with Trump, or any other candidate for that matter, or with Russia, are just groundless and false. We receive information anonymously, through an anonymous submission platform. We do not need to know the identity of the source, neither do we want to know it.
The intention of the source is irrelevant in our editorial process. Every source of every journalist has an intention and an agenda, may it be hidden or clear. Requesting the intention from our sources would firstly likely jeopardize their anonymity, and secondly form a bias in our understanding of the information we received.
Their authenticity and their relevance to the public or the historical record are the only preconditions for us to publish the documents we are given.
Assange is totally just baiting Don Jr. now. He talks like a Russian agent who doesn't give a fuck about his mark and hopes to see him incriminate himself even more, just for the lulz.
And Jr. is just dumb enough to bite.
I thought this was satire.
"America faces huge challenges that are vastly more important than contested sexual allegations from four decades ago. Who will vote in America’s best interests on Supreme Court justices, deficit and debt, economic growth, border security, national defense, and the like? Socialist Democrat Doug Jones will vote wrong. Roy Moore will vote right. Hence, I will vote for Roy Moore."
-Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks.
The sexual assault allegations he is referencing concern child molestation, and the evidence is so absurd that most major republicans have already denounced him, and the head of the party stated that if he is elected they will immediately eject him from the office because it is so clear he did it. The headline is fine.
lol keep calling the democrats socialists. It will make it so much easier when actual socialists take over.
Bias is a noun. BiasED is the adjectival form.
Not trying to be a dick here, but I see this mistake all the time. I used to study cognitive biases, and it kind of makes me crazy.
Nurse: Did you remember to stitch the patient back up?
Doctor: In all the ER chaos, I kind of forgot.
if you can't remember things then you need to step down...how will you ever keep the facts straight in the "chaos" of an investigation? You are literally admitting you can't do your job. resign.
I would like to invoke the “Pants on Fire” response to that comment.
Who among us hasn't forgot about contacts during the campaign confusion with a long time deadly enemy with nukes aimed at us?
My guess is that it does not get added. Removing the individual mandate would do a few very bad things.
1) Blow up insurance rates. Healthy people will leave the market, sick people will stay in the market. Insurance companies will have to dramatically raise prices of everyone to be able to funciton.
2) Cost the Federal government tons of money. The US pays credits to poor people so they can afford insurance. If the prices of plans go up then the amount of money needed in the form of assistance to poor people also goes up.
3) Due to increased costs more insurers will drop out of high risk areas due to the difficulty of turning a profit.
There are at least a few Republican senators who don't want to see this stuff happen.
This is another diversion tactic to drain public attention.
This bill has to die. The GOP must be unseated in 2018, or this country is in big trouble.
Just a heads up, your comment might be taken very seriously by Capitol Police.
Discussion Thread: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Testimony at House Oversight Hearing
Discussion should remain on topic - off topic discussion will be removed.
Mr. Sessions denied that he lied in October when he testified that he knew of nobody in the Trump campaign who had contacts with Russians during the presidential campaign. “And I don’t believe it happened,” he said.
Court records later revealed that Mr. Sessions led a March 2016 meeting in which George Papadopoulos, a campaign aide, discussed his Russian ties and suggested setting up a meeting between Mr. Trump. and Vladimir V. Putin, the Russian president.
“I had no recollection of this meeting until I saw these news reports,” Mr. Sessions said.

Man, if your memory is that bad you need to resign from all public office immediately.
Haha Gutierrez... "Why don't we just get Clinton and Trump to both resign and move on." hahaha
Motherfucker, the question was not "are you having ongoing conversations" it was "have you ever". He's lying by refusing to answer the exact question - he's answering one that nobody asked.
His autobiography should just be called "A life I cannot recall"
