And when their family members pick up arms against us, the right will claim that "they hate us for our freedom"

The group said that 268 strikes were carried out on Iraq and 434 were carried out on Syria within the month of March alone, killing at least 1,782 civilians and as many as 3,471.

So happy Trump is golfing and generals are running the show... Must be the time of their lifes. They get to try out all of the toys. They even got to finally use the MOAB.

Dear fucking God I can't believe more people commit terror attacks in the west given how we slaughter so many of them per month, talk about terrorism, a never ending stream of robots from the sky blowing up you country.

If there is one thing the US can do to create more "terrorists," it's killing innocent civilians and their loved ones.

Just imagine if a foreign nation sent drones into the US and killed your dad, mom, son, or daughter. I'm pretty sure we'd all take up arms in anger and anguish.

No problem, I organized the Tax March in Northwest Arkansas. I'll show him on my taxes that I wasn't paid for it. So long as he shows me his.

"I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican-easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?"

The Electoral College favors Republicans, dipshit.

"Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies," Trump tweeted a day after thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in more than 150 cities across the country.

Love the narrative he's trying to assemble: protesters are paid, there aren't many of them, and they're organized... by somebody.

Probably somebody scary. But not the Rusians, amirite, Don?

"Trump himself used paid actors to pose as rally attendees during his campaign."

Maxine Waters On Trump: 'I Will Fight Every Day Until He Is Impeached'

Congresswoman Maxine Waters was front and center calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump during the Tax March in Washington on Saturday.

...

“I don't respect this president. I don't trust this president. He's not working in the best interests of the American people,” Waters said. “I will fight every day until he is impeached.”

now if only more dems were as honest.

The Democrats can be persuaded without much difficulty that Trumps needs to be removed from power. But so far, no one on the GOP side is broaching that topic and that's what needs to occur.

They're waiting until after they pass all the evil stuff that voters hate so then they can impeach him and blame him for it.

I'd rather have Trump and the Republicans be beaten in the ballots, since impeachment only fuels their shitty self-victimization and martyrdom.

If he breaks a law and it is provable under court, then have it.

Scientists are skeptics. They are skeptical of experimental results, of data quality, of breakthroughs, of objectivity. Scientists are the ultimate skeptics which is why they test, check, check again, have other people replicate and check.

Conservatives are just anti-science. They are not skeptics.

Can't be said enough. Climate deniers for example are trying to rebrand as "climate skeptics" to sound legit.

Came to check on hunch he was a Democrat. Left without disappointment.

The difference is that that's not what climate change denialists, creationists, anti-vaxers or moon landing hoaxers mean when they call themselves "skeptics". What they mean is "I have already decided that I don't like your evidence or conclusions, as it contradicts and undermines my conclusion which I'd already decided on. So, I'll deny it outright, and if logic and reason themselves support your argument, then they must be attacked as well."

They just call it "skepticism" because that's a better sales pitch than "empirical reality denialist". Deep down, at least some of them know they're full of it, which is why they often attack the scientific process and reason itself.

Leaks Between Trump Team And Russia Continue To Come Out

Leaks Between Trump Team And Russia Continue To Come Out

Is there any chance any of this will actually matter? Is there anyone in government with the power and will to act on whatever incriminating information might come out?

The FBI is not congress. There are agents that believe in the rule of law and country before politics. They aren't looking for reelection.

There are whispers and hints on twitter over the last couple days from some pretty prominent followers of the story that the FBI is close to indictment recommendations for some people, possibly as soon as next week. They have also been saying that people are going to be shocked at the number of people that end up roped into this all. Supposedly our allies may have come through huge with lots of intel that they passed on to their counterparts here in the US. There are also rumblings the NY Attorney General is working on separate RICO charges related to organized crime.

We'll see what comes of these rumors...

So is this Comey guy actually interested in investigating and prosecuting if they find anything? I'm honestly asking, I see these stories all the time, but have never seen anyone with real power face any sort of accountability. Bush had to throw some people under the bus, but not the real decision makers. I'm at the point where I don't believe the people on top of our government and economic systems are sanctionable at all.

Arnold is REALLY a TRUE American. An immigrant, now citizen, who really wants to make his country a better place.

Arnold is a rare gem in the world of politics - a Republican politician that isn't shady as fuck.

Arnold is one of those now very rare Republicans I would strongly consider voting for being a Democrat. He puts the people first, which is very important.

He's one of the only ones that not only acknowledges climate change but has vocal said how the agriculture industry is tied to it.

Donald Trump’s shifting positions have everything to do with the last person he spoke with
Donald Trump’s shifting positions have everything to do with the last person he spoke with

There are a few good reasons a person would behave this way, simply parroting the last thing they heard:

He's a moron.

He's got dementia.

He has no critical-thinking ability.

He's a narcissist with very poor memory.

All of the above.

None of these are good qualities for a leader. I'm inclined to believe Trump has all of them. That's a recipe for disaster, especially given the den of snakes in which he's operating. People will get hurt, and he'll be blissfully unaware, eating a beautiful slice of cake.

This was rumored back during the primaries, and it completely explains not only how he's all over the map but also the current infighting in his administration as people jockey for influence.

Someone on Reddit pointed this out after his transition discussion with Obama where he said he might keep Obamacare. Credit to him/her.

As soon as Trump does one not awful thing, NPR turns into a huge Trump dick ride. The day after his first major presidential speech disgusted me. Wow, he was able to read a script and not be an asshole for one hour. "I think this is a turning point and we're going to see a more presidential Trump in the coming days."

No you aren't. Don't pretend, it's dishonest.

Trump says he can’t be sued for violence at his rallies because he won the election

This is actually pursuant to a common law legal defense known as "go fuck yourself I'm the king" it hasn't been popular in quite some time though.

I thought we already resolved this shit? Didn't the judge JUST say that he CAN be sued for this?

He believes now, as he always has, that he is above the law.

I would think that conservatives who were so hard on Obama for simple things would be consistent here and call out Trump. But then, I guess, I would think wrong.

MAGA Carta.

Nearly $500K in campaign funds has gone to Trump-owned entities: report

I would love to hear the excuse from someone who donated why this is totally ok with them.

Edit: I changed my mind. The ignorance is too much for my inbox to handle.

During his 2016 campaign, Trump's campaign spent more than $14 million on Trump-branded companies and family-owned businesses.

And he's already raised more than $42M for reelection, some of which I assume was funneled over from the 2016 campaign. You know that money is going to be dumped into his businesses, Cambridge Analytica, Bannon's advising company, and about a dozen other payoffs that will need to be made.

You'll probably get some variation of "but her emails/top rated global charity".

How much more does it take, Republicans?

Keep in mind the more you let Trump get away with, the more any future POTUS can get away with. You're setting an extremely dangerous precedent for the level of corruption and crimes needed to impeach someone.

Energy Star ratings are cheap, effective and popular. Why does Trump want to kill them?

Energy Star ratings are cheap, effective and popular. Why does Trump want to kill them?

Fossil fuel companies. Not because fossil fuels are in direct threat from energy efficient appliances but because this act attempts to weaken climate change theory. The energy star program implies that not all electronics are created equal. That some electronics consume more electricity and that this is a bad thing because energy should be conserved. Energy should be conserved because the overuse of it by humans has had profound consequences on the environment. Those profound consequences are what we mean when we talk about climate change. The energy star program implies that human actions have real consequences and that even small little changes that we make can a have difference in the outcome.

By removing the program you imply that climate change isn't a real concern. In fact, climate change is so little of a concern that any attempts to curb it, even if it's tiny and not inconvenient, is a wasted effort.

Of course that's my rational explanation for a man that does not act rationally. Perhaps Trump is just on a mission to degrade the United States because I still have not been able to explain why he would cut Meals on Wheels.

Who has a vested intrest in dismattling them?

The Republican Party is cartoonishly evil. How divorced from reality do you have to be to support these people?
