If you've ever been to a high end medical marijuana dispensary.. You know how right he is.
We'll see about that when there's official Game of Thrones weed.
Hell just reading the menu in your average marijuana stores makes the case for itself. Pot can get complicated.
The difference between too much weed and too much booze is as follows: When I have too much weed I think of what a lazy and bad person I am, how I can do so much better with my life. When i have too much booze I think "I bet I could fight that cop"Some stand up comedian I can't remember.
The 25-year-old admitted throwing the liquid but had claimed he believed it was a date rape drug.
As far as legal defense long shots go, this one was a doozy.
Just to get the facts clear, His name was "Arthur Collins". He is a British white guy.
Anyways read the article. What happens is horrible. I hope this guy rots.
"the jury found him guilty of five counts of GBH with intent, and nine counts of ABH against 14 people.
Collins will be sentenced on 19 December."
I hope he gets life.

I figured this was the case when the post was only 3 hours old and only had 158 upvotes.
Acid attacks have occurred in the UK for 200 years and worldwide too.
This isn't a "but da muzzies!!" this is literally what has been happening for centuries.
Also this is a white guy. Like most acid attacks are, gang violence against other gangs, or petty crime like theft.
I'm glad they told me what he founded, never would have known who this "Gates" guy is
Bill Gates has been “the boy” for as long as I can remember now
I think he's the former defense secretary.
Bill Gates was very ruthless while he was at Microsoft. He had no ethics in business dealings and would skirt, bend, and possibly break laws all in order to grow his company.
That being said, his personal conduct since has been impeccable. Even at his worst he never seemed to want to harm people, just crush his business competition.
There should be an animal cruelty registry established to track people similar to the sex offender registry to prevent animal abusers from working near animals or adopting pets.
Man, you gotta be a special kind of fucked up asshole to abuse an animal.
The sad fact is that Jacob Larson the owner let this go on for years and is only now "concerned" about how he operates his diary farm. He knew. If he claims he didn't know he's lying. He's a corporate goon allowing everything to go on to increase his profits at any cost. As soon as the cameras are once again "banned" from his operation he will be back to hiring animal abusers to increase his profits.
That was disgusting to watch. I think one day we'll teach kids about our history of abuse and mistreatment of farm animals and they'll look back on us as barbarians. How can anyone treat an animal this way?
TL;DR; Green Beret discovered two SEALs skimming money from a fund meant for informants in Mali. They offered him a cut. He declined. The SEALs claimed he was drunk during a hand-to-hand fighting exercise when he died from asphyxiation. Autopsy said otherwise. Investigation ongoing.
during a hand-to-hand fighting exercise
According the the thieves who killed him. They also claimed that he was drunk, which claim was falsified by the autopsy.
Another follow the money story. If its true, the 2 seals are definitely not the only ones embezzling
This will be the first time in years SEALs won't write a tell-all book about a kill they had.
Prior to the new law, Illinois’ statutes required that the most egregious sexual offenses against children must be reported and prosecuted within 20 years of the survivor turning 18 years old.
That... already sounded reasonable?
If you're abused at 10, you would have until 38 to report it. That's a long ass time. Eventually any evidence would be gone, and on the flip side, no one would be able to defend themselves as witnesses and alibis could be gone or dead.
This has to do with the Dennis Hastert case. Hastert molested young boys in the 70s and it only came to light 40 years later. He got a slap on the wrist and won't be prosecuted for molestation.
It overlooks the psychological effects of abuse, and they may never fade, and it might take thirty years to summons the courage to speak out. The attitude of 'if you haven't spoken about it before means it couldn't be that bad' indicates a complete lack of understanding of the trauma of childhood sexual assault. The effects last a lifetime.
Except double jeopardy is unconstitutional. They can’t try him again without a totally separate crime to prosecute him for.
An old mate here in Australia was sprayed constantly in the area they were in. His Army doctor here told him to always carry weight as Agent Orange was stored in fat and when you had no fat it went into your bones.
Our Australian Defense minister came on the radio in the 70's and said our troops had never been sprayed with it. Paul spat the dummy on the job that day and threw the radio into the wall on a house we were building. He had small pimples all over his back/torso as a result of the Agent Orange.
Good to see this guy got on the memorial.
My father died of cancer at 55 almost definitely caused by AO. No recognition from the government, nothing. When they first started spraying it they flat out lied and said it was harmless. This is insane, who even approved this and thought it was a good idea for minimal effectiveness and the expense of thousands of lives.
it's effectively like gassing your own troops back in the day.
He did mention Australian troops got disproportionately dosed with it compared to Americans.
GMOs are just GMOs.
You can use them to make rice have bigger yields, or to make rice poisonous.
GMOs are neither harmful nor harmless, they're just a tool. One we have been using for hundreds of centuries. Now we just have a way to make them more time efficient.
My father ended up with 100% disability due to AO being a major factor in his Congestive heart failure. He died in 2013 at 65. I miss him.
Will this crackdown just be another poorly developed algorithm by YouTube?
Was wondering what that odd ball video of Elsa riding Spider-Man (clothed) was all about
Next I would like to see them crack down on the bizarre videos featuring children...
Lot's of multimillion-views videos of preteens in bikinis and underwear dancing. No mystery why they are so popular.
Lots of sexually explicit comments too - some of which have remained there for years. Comments talking about having sex with children...
And some of these fucking channels are monetized.
They claim they are hiring more people, but probably this, too.
I have a friend who is former JW. Why is she former? Because her husband molested her younger sister and their church covered it up. When she left him (because duh) they turned on her and threatened to excommunicate her. So she left on her own, because fuck them.
Here in Guadalajara, a couple of JW missionaries from Arizona have continually helped twin brothers from the mid west of the US, secure and transport children to the brothers home to give the parents a weekend break and rest. Firmly believing that the fact they were both fugitives and wanted by the US federal marshalls, was wrong. These boys (40's) were so nice and love children. The acts they filmed and posted to the internet are disgusting. Now one brother has been released from jail and the JW's are providing money and transportation to help him return to mexico. Illegally of course. This type of stuff needs to be highlighted and broadcast. Parents the world over need to hear the true that not all missionaries are godlike or righteous and nor are the churches they represent. I say if the guy is caught send him and the missionary couple to the worst most violent prison in all of Mexico and lose the key.
You think of all the people in third world countries that could be helped by that much money...
I was thinking more along the lines of money to help build infrastructure for things like water and waste treatment, medication and medical treatment, food supplies during famines, and education.
The US Air Force failed to flag his criminal history resulting in all those needless deaths. Never forget.
It's the fault of the shooter. The Air Force behaved negligently but let's not forget who pulled the trigger, here.
how many more flags were needed? They all obviously did no good.
Simply saying he's insane and writing it off without looking to understand why he did this isn't helpful. It's burying your head in the sand rather than looking to learn. There are tons of insane people who aren't violent - we should seek to understand what combination of psychological, social, cultural and personal problems led to this in an effort to stop it in the future.
You should check out Mindhunter, there are some great scenes and dialog about exactly this.
