Toms River NJ-*Warning*-There are a bunch of kids driving around town indiscriminately tackling people in to the snow.
I went out to take some pictures and I was on route 9 by WaWa in Toms River when a car stopped and a teenage/young 20's kid came out and tackled me hard into the snow and than they drove off. There were two cars It was a black early 2000's Toyota or Honda and a similar silver one(both cars were yelling shit at me as they drove off.) I called it in and the cops said that it wasn't the first call of this nature tonight. Just wanted to warn anyone in the area in case you plan on going out. I had a mask on and a puffy coat so there was no way they could have known my gender or age. I'm fine but if someone hits their head the wrong way on the concrete or has a weak heart it could be bad. Be safe out there guys.
Kids these days. We only used to pretend that there was an invisible rope pulled taut across a road.
I was walking home one night recently and got shot with a paintball from a passing car. Like, I know kids get bored but why are they attacking people? Turn on a movie or do something productive if you're bored.
Toms River is a pretty caustic town. It's not dangerous but everyone is rude as fuck.
They're pushing their luck. Pick on the wrong person and blammo.
This was a controlled burn conducted by a team of fire departments in and around the Pine Barrens area. The flames directly next to the roadway extended on for about two miles. Here’s a few articles about it.
I hope the interior decorator wasn’t in there.
He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians
I manage a preserved property in the pine Barrens, tons of people called to say it was on fire, as if they don't do it all the time! Nice video, may I share this on our page?
I like pizza with fresh herbs so it’s technically a salad then and good for you. I did the research.
Pizza is clearly very healthy. Has tomatoes and stuff. I don't buy it.
Also if you cut each slice in half, it's only half the calories. And since it's half the calories, you can have twice as much!
In other news NJ Monthly discovers that snow storms suck.
I recognize that the product itself is pork roll. But I want Taylor's brand pork roll, not some gypsy off brand bologna
That meme works better then I expected. And so very true
No one is going to throw a nice plate of pork roll / Taylor Ham on the floor like that.
you mean a Everything Bagel
I just assumed the tracks had been removed, had no clue they decided to just let the sand bury them.
We need to teach you where the period key is on the keyboard.

“Let me destroy this piece of history for $5 at the scrap yard” fuck off you sound like a junkie scheming to afford some heroin
Nice to see him finally come out and make a statement/speak on the issue. It's been a little bit of awkward radio silence.
I feel confident in him trying to push this through and strongly hope our legislators will realize and proceed with the legalization bills.
from the comments: "fix pot holes with pot"
in his speech he basically called out the opposition and said youre wrong, plain and simple. Lets hope that those votes just fall in line when they actually see how this all fits into the budget fiscally. At the end of the day the old folks change their songs when they see the dollar signs.
Sweet! What about growing for personal use?
Guess what, competent people don't want to work at an underfunded agency when they can make more somewhere else. Which leads to a revolving door and you're left with said incompetent morons at the end.
Just make a fucking turn so I don't have to transfer in secaucus
What, the Corzine-era management that decided to cancel plans to electrify all of NJT, or the one that cancelled plans to buy new, high performance EMUs, in exchange for the slow multilevels, or the one that blew 12 million a piece in underutilitized dual-mode locomotives.
Or was it the one that got rid of perfectly serviceable single level coaches and electric locomotives? Ones that are sitting, rotting on a siding in western NJ, some less than 20 years old at the time.
Warrington was the single worst thing to happen to NJT, who hired him after he happily drove Amtrak into the ground so hard, there was serious talk about getting rid of it altogether.
That's a Federal matter.
People still need to be told this?
Yes. Yes they do.
The sky is also blue.
Something everyone who has experience with both already knows....such information would have never been made public if Christie were still in office. Alcohol is the real gateway drug.
Feel bad for you all...
Get a generator. The bitch Sandy taught me one thing.
Still without power in Bergen County as well. Sitting in the dark and the cold is beyond old at this point.
Just got my power back a few minutes ago. Have your upvote!
And fresh water. Gallons. Tuna. Granola bars. Soup. Maybe some picnic supplies in case the stores are closed past July 4.
I'm a third party logistics provider and my entire office spent all day today finding trucks to move grocery goods in the north east, NJ especially.
They knew you fuckers were going to empty the shelves.
They were paying truckers $100 an hour to sit outside their facility to wait on shipments to avoid stockouts. Had three guys who slept in their cabin for five hours and made $500 taking a long nap.
I unfortunately actually needed bread and milk today. It was a mess
Need more taylor ham
