This door handle greets you in the most gentlemanly way

This is brilliant.

Sadly if I had such a fine doorknob, it would probably drive everyone around me insane.

I would feel compelled to place my other hand shoulder height on the door, and greet it warmly as an old friend. Every. Single. Time.

Forever.

Stand on the other side of it, then!

Not so great if you're left handed.

I'm used to that already.

Water shaped like a basketball player

Water shaped like a basketball player

There’s a great white shark just below the neck of the bottle!!!

I don't know which player that is but its pretty deformed if i say so myself

It had to have happened the first time. It's really hard to pick water up off the ground.

Am I crazy for not seeing a basketball player?

EDIT: What I mean is, this water is very obviously an image of Jesus Christ on a tortilla.

Honey Nut Cheerios giving out seeds to save the bee population.

Honey Nut Cheerios giving out seeds to save the bee population.

Legitimately not trying to be a hater, but are they doing this again or is this just a repost from last year when they did this? Because last year they took an awful lot of flack for including a number of invasive species in the Wildflower seed mix that were not appropriate to plant in large swaths of the country.

If we really want to bring back the bees, why not include a colony of them in every box?

"Honey Nut Cheerios is continuing its mission to bring back the bees. This year we’ve partnered with Page’s Seeds to give away a packet of Cosmos Sensation Mix Seeds, in specially marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios. Suitable as a garden plant across the country, the seed mix will help to create new places for pollinators to thrive.

We’re working toward a goal of providing enough seeds to help five million Americans plant pollinator gardens in the U.S. this year. You can do your part to help us bring back the bees by planting your seed mixture and sharing on social using #BringBackTheBees, so we can celebrate all the new pollinator gardens this spring. Heil Hitler!"

Let me just pop a quick "B" on this box. This way we all know it's filled with bees.

2.50 a gallon? Man, we’re getting ripped off in Washington

Dont ever by petrol (gas) in Europe. The prices will make your eyes bleed.

In the UK, we currently pay $7.62 / gallon.

You can also drive across your whole country in orange with less than one tank.

Here in 'murica we use 100 gallons per week in our giant V10 commuter pickup trucks.

This morning was pretty foggy and I thought this tree just stood out.

This morning was pretty foggy and I thought this tree just stood out.

Aaahhhhh, the majestic morning wood.

Looks like something from a horror movie.

This would be Araucaria Heterophylla, commonly called the Norfolk Island Pine or Star Pine.

While being a coniferous tree, it is not a true pine and is actually native to the South Pacific.

looks like someone just shoved a bouquet of twigs in there.

All my brain sees is spider legs.

That’s what I thought when I first looked at it. But the sticks go all the way down

I found a copy of ‘Twister’ while cleaning up after a tornado

“Copy of twister!” “Another copy of twister!” “No, I think that’s the same one.”

I remember that movie being rated PG-13 for “intense depiction of very bad weather” I’m serious, that’s what the VHS box said.

Missed opportunity to say twister twice

Nah it's the font from the 90s

My plane flew over the eye of a storm yesterday.

My plane flew over the eye of a storm yesterday.

Pilot here.

That's not a storm, just a cloud formation.

An actual storm with an eye that large would have 30,000-40,000+ high thunderstorms embedded. You would not be flying over it. There isn't an vertical development to those clouds

Hmmm, that looks like this von Kármán vortex that I read about yesterday.

I look upto pilots.

That's because they're in the sky.

So why do they like just create that hole?

Why did I think I was supposed to be looking at the handle hole and thought the cutout was butter or something.

Well no shit Sherlock.

...Why would it have New Zealand? It isn’t a part of Australia.
