The entire album is great in my opinion. "Gethsemane" is my another favorite in the album with Haqq al-Yaqin. It's definitely worth checking out. I'd appreciate song suggestions similiar to the sound of Haqq al-Yaqin and Gethsemane. Thanks for sharing this, very good taste OP!

I was only familiar with their first two albums so this was a complete surprise. The instrumentation was fantastic.

Yeah! He has a bunch of projects. One that I would recommend to anyone that likes Om, is another band called Grails. Check em out!

Robert Plant & Allison Krauss -- Gone Gone Gone [Shuffle 50s Rock Cover] (2007)

Robert Plant & Allison Krauss -- Gone Gone Gone [Shuffle 50s Rock Cover] (2007)

This was such a good album. I can listen to it the whole way through, but this and Killing the Blues are some of my all time favorites. Sad that the proposed follow up album never seems to have happened.

I thought listentothis was for lower profile artists?

I remember watching the Grammy's in 2009 and watching this win Album of the Year

Yep, Grammy winning album of the year is really low profile, especially when one of the singers is one of the most famous rock singers of all time and the other is an extremely well known country singer with a long career.

Totally low profile...

The Traveler -- Berlin [Alternative/Country/Chill] (2017)

The Traveler -- Berlin [Alternative/Country/Chill] (2017)

Hate to be a dick but.....this is Berlin, but it's by Bears Den, not The Traveler.

Um this is a Bear's Den song

I was going to say.. not being very familiar with their catalog, this sounds a lot like Bears Den

Is this an awful song or a mediocre coffee commercial?

Genuinely didn't know the lyrics til I head this.

Saw these guys play in my city earlier in the year, they are amazing. Put on such a good show.

Hahahaha yes! This is awesome. I listen to the original during heavy squats. I can only imagine exploding out of the hole with that mandolin and banjo thumping.

The FCC is expected to announce a vote to gut net neutrality rules the day before Thanksgiving. Only a big burst of phone calls to Congress can stop them from allowing ISPs to charge us extra fees to access sites, apps, games, and especially the music we all love. [discussion]

Hey everyone, the chairman of the FCC is very likely to announce a vote to gut neutrality, possibly as soon as this week. Once a vote is called, it will become much, much harder to stop ISPs from charging us all extra fees to access streaming services like YouTube -- and they can demand payment from independent artists and labels, stifling independent voices...

We're getting word that there are lawmakers who are sympathetic to our cause and considering taking action to slow the FCC down, but they won’t act unless they get more phone calls from constituents. Also, if your think your Rep's opposed to net neutrality, its all the more reason to call them. Those Reps need to hear your voice more than anyone.

Please, head over to https://www.battleforthenet.com , and give your Senators and Reps a call telling them to stop the FCC from slashing Title II net neutrality protections. The time to act is now. To reach the call in line directly by phone, call 202-930-8550. When you get through to your Rep's office, introduce yourself, be polite, and say:

I support "Title Two" net neutrality rules and I urge you to oppose the FCC's plan to repeal them. Specifically, I'd like you to contact the FCC Chairman and demand he abandon his current plan.

We also have ready-made banners, modals, and graphics of various sizes here: https://www.battleforthenet.com/#join

Thanks.

Edit: Thanks for the gold, and the great comments friends! FAQ

How bout we start a gofundme for lobbying congress since they only respond to bribes now.

EDIT: ResistBot is the next best thing, check it out. Thx u/jcopeee22

None of our senators/congresspeople represent our interests. They represent the corporations that own them.

I've already contacted my reps for my state, all the ones I can contact are for NN. What more can I do to help?

I'm tired of this fucking bullshit. gonna start calling numbers around the state telling people to call our reps and start going out and handing out flyers asap.

edit: wow, the amount of upvotes and support on this comment is honestly amazing. I'll update as I start to set my whole operation up <3

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Edit: Since this is getting popular I'm going to address some of the people arguing against Net Neutrality below me. I cannot make it clear enough that Net Neutrality is NOT the government regulating the internet. Net Neutrality is the government regulating the ISPs, AKA the people who have the power to regulate the internet. Under Title 2 restrictions ISPs are treated as utility providers like water or electricity and as such are not allowed to tamper with your service. Net Neutrality has absolutely nothing to do with government surveillance or control. I sincerely encourage anyone who is rallying against this to put down identity politics for a moment and do some research into what Net Neutrality is and why we need it. This is not a Democrat vs Republican issue. This decision will affect every single person in America.

IM GETTING SICK OF THIS SHIT. How about we vote to kick out anyone who wants this instead. Why in the hell is it even possible for them to keep revoting on this shit? We said NO!

How many times can we stop them before they fuck off? Feels like an inevitability :/

It’s not a question of “charging extra fees.” Content not sold to you by your provider will load slowly if at all. And articles critical of ISPs or Big Media will be really hard to find.

Is this song anywhere else for a free listen? Spotify has been trending down for me personally. Not using it any more.

I went to school with 2 of the guys from this band (Seb and Harry) about 10 years ago. It’s cool to see them doing well and their music is fantastic, but I can’t fully enjoy it as all I remember was them being huge tossers all those years ago at school!
