Canucks' Prospect Elias Pettersson has just had a 4 point game

With 4 assists today he now has 35 points in 25 games played, leading the SHL.

lucky

It's kind of hilarious, really

I guess 5+5+5+5 will eventually yield a 1. Canucks are gonna have quite the young core.

Pretty good. I had a 6 point game in my beer league last night tho.

You just have to laugh

So the Ducks, with 29 games, have been averaging about 6 players injured per game...

2 plus 2 is 4 minus 1 that's 3

I love how Pierre knows he did it in minor midgets. What a stalker!

Your last 4 point night was when you were 13, on November 18th. Tavares and Crosby both had hat tricks that night.

The guy's an encyclopedia.

Thought this really stood out to me:

“I’m spoiled to have done this for so long,” he said. “I’ve had teammates who are superstars and others who are minor-league role players who have struggled, missed time, and ended careers because of concussions. I want to do anything I can to help.”

Never forget.

This guy is one of my favorite players and so surprisingly eloquent in his interviews.

I think it's safe to assume that some concussions have gone under the radar too.

Hasn't the biggest danger with CTE been proven to be less about concussions and more about repeated sub-concussive hits to the head? Not that concussions won't fuck you up long-term or that it makes Lovejoy's action any less noble, it's just that numerous players have been diagnosed with CTE who've never been diagnosed with a concussion before

We knew

Yeah he's not great at defense. Anyone can tell you that.

But the guy controls our powerplay (along with Mika). We needed that badly.

Plus he has 20 points right now. Half on the PP. I'm not complaining.

Let's be honest here, the caps would lose in the second round no matter who they played.

Finally people will hopefully realize that not only is Shattenkirk not better than Pietrangelo, he's significantly worse. Even I would get upset at that crap and I hate you guys.

Told that @NHLCanes majority interest sale to billionaire Tom Dundon had a team value just shy of 500m. Pete Karmanos will retain just under 50% ownership to protect future growth in franchise values.

Ryan Miller got his 40th shutout tonight against the Ottawa Senators.

Ryan Miller and the AHL Ducks shutout the sens on the second night of a back to back.

Safe to say we’re the oilers of the east.

Poor Miller went from carrying on AHL calibre team to another.

At least the Ducks should have a quality team in about a month.

Lol no, you are not even close to holding that fine honor

I'm so glad Miller is a Duck

Where were you when sens were kill?

For perspective, the Coyotes have only been shutout once the whole season.

Yeah, no, we're really really bad.

Apparently we were good enough to beat you guys though.

Haha imagine losing to the Coyotes...

Holy smokes, this deserves more attention.

I should have titled it as Auston Matthews. It'd be at the top of /sub/hockey by now.

Beautiful clear by Oduya and a great defensive play by Ceci...

Someone kill me

So beautiful. So glad to have him back.

Rico thriving in Anaheim. Love it. Really hoping you guys make the playoffs this year.

He's so good that he got his first goal twice.

Happy to see him doing well, gotta admit he looks good in that jersey.
