Job well done! Expecting update in 2-4 yrs. :)
Happy Birthday!! She’s very beautiful. You are lucky to have a great grandma. I lost all my grandparents by the time I was 9 years old.
Happy birthday to your great grandma!
He’s cancer free, and my fibromyalgia is stable - so we celebrated with a trip to Paris. I am so full of happiness my cats can’t stand me :)
Those are reasons to celebrate!! Yay! Also, cats are fickle ;) don’t let that bring you down!
Hitler stood right behind you once.
So true! Since the moment her sister died her focus has been on my happiness. If I cry she does everything to calm me. And I will am strong BECAUSE of her!
I can tell just from reading this that you're a spectacular mom, and your daughter is gonna grow up to be a spectacular person in general.
It's sadly less common that it should be for parents to show that kind of love to their children, but I'm glad to see someone who actually does love their child like that <3
"Children are a lot stronger than you think. As long as they know you love them, they can handle just about anything life throws their way" -Geordi Laforge, Star Trek: TNG.
Have you looked at doing a course on how to manage afro style hair? It may sound silly - but it's pretty hard to do!
Happy for both of you!
Happy for you. ❤️
That doesn't sound silly at all, learning to manage his hair is one of my biggest challenges
Oh my god, he’s so cute! So happy for you and your son.
Not the biggest, but she's a beauty! Well done!
What is that fish!? Congrats looked like a great experience!
It’s a yelloweye rockfish
Bigger is not always better. Well thats what my gf told me sooo....
I’m just here browsing from /sub/all and saw this post and wanted to offer my two cents.
Congrats on the huge accomplishment dude. I joined the military later than you are and it was the best decision I ever made. Here are a few lessons I learned that might help you:
Training sucks but it’s not long and it’ll be over before you know it. Plan your next move. Your 4 or 6 years will go by in the blink of an eye and you need to be thinking about whether you want to keep the military as a career or move on to something else. I got out and am almost finished with a degree using the GI Bill; others stay in and make a great career in the service. All depends on what you want, but make sure you’re thinking about it so you’re not one of those people forced to stay in because they don’t have any other options.
I don’t know how outgoing you are but put yourself out there and meet as many people as you can. To this day I still keep up with a few folks in the military and along the way I met some absolutely amazing people. Those are the memories you’ll back at fondly for the rest of your life. Don’t waste away playing xbox in your room.
If you wish you could be more confident, meet more folks, aren’t happy with whatever, the military is a great life experience builder that if you capitalize on, can teach you a whole lot and make you into a new man. I didn’t want to make it a career but it morphed me into the man I am today and I look back fondly at my years in the service. I hope you have an equally good experience.
Best of luck dude!
Good luck man!
That's awesome. You're gnna be fit as fuck. Good luck.
Hell yea good.for you :)
It seems like a small step. but it really is one of the biggest of your life. Well done! Keep on going strong!
First step is the most important step! Good on your for making the right choice. Hope it all goes well for you. You are also very beautiful. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)
Keep up the efforts! Remain strong! Take it one step at a time! I believe in you! You got this! ☺️☺️☺️
Congratulations. Keep grinding away, small steps are the best ones
I got rejected lol, but I'm still ridiculously happy that I worked up the courage. I'm dual majoring in math and engineering, so I don't get out much and there's not many girls in my field in the first place. But the fact that I had the chance and the guts to actually ask and that they respected me was more than enough. And we're still on good terms on top of that!
Well done my dude! I know that feeling of excitement afterward. I stopped dating for a while and never asked anyone cause I was nervous. Finally got the guts to ask my highschool crush on a date after 2 years! All seems to be going well. I wish you the best of luck. Keep us posted on how the first date goes!
Fuck yes bro, that's awesome. Take massive action. Remember to never beat yourself up if anything goes wrong. Keep your head up, stay positive, and move on. Practice makes perfect.
