Measles were effectively eradicated through giving children vaccines. A quack doctor wrote a report claiming that vaccines cause autism, which was immediately debunked, but not before a lot of ignorant people spread "the truth". Now there is a huge anti-vaccination movement, and measles are making a comeback.
Oh, sorry. It's a sign for tourists from other countries warning them that California now has third world health problems.
Nope, antivaxers are on both sides liberal & conservative. Stupidity crosses over the isle.
As a liberal, I'd like to apologize to the rest of humanity that some of my brethren are fucking retarded (vaccine denialism is mostly a far-left thing, sadly).
I'd say, "good riddance and I hope they died of their willful ignorance", but they infect everyone else around them.
I mean it is signed technically
This reminds me of the time my dad put toys under the tree in Christmas and signed it "from Santha"
THE GREAT BAMBINO.
Much better than when known Muslim extremist Eli Manning won
Ann coulter is a cancer to the world.
I looked it up, apparently she went on quite the twitter rant. Saying they won because the coach prayed and "Glory to God", several other tweets. Not sure it works that way but ok. I guess she's upset because even though Brady was raised Christian he now says he believes "in everything". My guess, it's no ones business and he just isn't that religious anymore.
Or that Hindu jerk Tom Brady.
Same group who caused a measles outbreak in Texas
Guess I don't really have the flu right now.
"So I'm going to tell you what the facts are, and the facts are the facts, but then we know the truth. That always overcomes facts," she has said.
I'm not sure I even want to understand.
Actually, Jesus' dad created the flu. Thanks a lot Jesus' dad.
The 4-8 years between super bowls really does fly fast
Been around longer than the whole United States. Think about it, there are 51 Super Super Bowls and 50 states.
I like when the Grover Cleveland Browns won two non-consecutive Super Bowls.
Thats anecdotal. Here:
Empirical is an adjective for something being based of your own experience or experimentation and observation.
Unless he's an emperor...
Empirical is for something that is based off of facts. If it's based off of opinion that is going to be anecdotal. Empirical may still be opinion-based but you're drawing inferences from verifiable fact. If it's based on personal experience that is anecdotal.
Empirical is for something that is based off of facts.
Your link: "Empirical evidence, also known as sensory experience, is the knowledge received by means of the senses, particularly by observation and experimentation."
So, no. Empirical does not imply facts. Empirical studies can be wrong.
lmao hope this is genuine, it's fucking hilarious.
I've seen this video on pornhub.
Syntax would've saved you here, kid.
But the video explicitly stated it was her NOT step-dad.
Don't worry, the Portuguese spoken in Brazil can also be quite different and pretty unintelligible for someone who is used to European Portuguese.
És verdade. Soy brasileiro i lhes puedo decir que nosaltres falamos Spanish very raro.
I didn't know that until I started working with a man who's father was French and in the oil business. They traveled extensively when he was young and he speaks Brazilian Portuguese (As well as English, French, South American Spanish and Italian). We went on a workplace trip to Madrid that also involved a trip to Portugal and he really struggled with the differences though they could understand eachother well enough.
It's like an RP Englishman trying to understand someone from North Wales (nearly impossible) or a really, really broad Glaswegian. Or someone from Cork, jesus christ. I'm Northern Irish myself and thought a couple of lads from West Cork were Spanish because I couldn't make out a single word.
Brazilian here. I work with people from Portugal and the difference is less dramatic than that. The biggest challenge is the accent and the slangs, the languages themselves are quite similar. Communicating through text is seamless, but talking over skype will certainly lead to many "come again?" moments, from both sides.
Seawalls we're invented by the liberal media to confuse us.
“TEAR DOWN THAT WALL!” - Hurricane
Not enough barbwire and machine gun turrets to keep off those lazy crabs and shiftless seagulls!
Satire or troll. I'll go with satire since he's literally planting the notion of babies in the first message.
I want it to be a joke but i really feel like it might not be
