Looks perfect for the job! Really healthy looking feline!
Thank you! He's all muscle and likes to make sure I know it. Lol
Man, that is a very strong blue colored leash. It almost looks photoshopped against his fur color.
i work in a nursing home and i love when therapy cats come in :)
Ahh what a small world! still roams around and comes to my building at 10pm almost every night to visit. <3 I'm not surprised he's famous!
In Chicago, we had a neighborhood cat that had similar collar. His name was Sven and he was friendly.
That's what I would do as a cat.
Go to the beach, eat me a fish. Catch me a shark, chew me a bone. And when the moon is high, the tide is low, bid 'night to my slaves and walk myself home.
This makes me so happyyyyy.
Glad to know this little lady was given a second chance. She's beautiful!
Thanks for doing all you've done for her.
Can you post a video of her walking crooked? I imagine it's cute.
Awe and a very rare orange lady cat too! She's lovely :)
Orange is dominant in the Y chromosome and recessive in the X chromosome (which is also why females can be calico but not XY males). So around 80% of pure orange cats are male.
I work for as Vet Tech. I see rescue groups and fosters everyday. Kudos to you all because man, I would make the worst Foster Pet Parent ever. I would wind up having 50 cats in no time...
It was really hard not to keep her! But there are other kitties that need my help too! She found a home right away.
"You attention pay to me now??"
I'm surprised I haven't taken a bunch in. When I started coordinating the fostering department there were over 800 kittens in foster care!
Adorable. That's what.
They look more like Birmans, the breed standard is to have white socks!
Here is mine, shes nearly 5 months old :)
Yep, it's been complex to say the least. Cats don't react well to preschoolers running up to them, despite him having the best of intentions and only wanting to stroke them.
The way which eventually worked was to show the boy that cats need to smell you before you start stroking them, that and to not chase after them if they run away.
Seems to work as now he's reaping the rewards until the cat walks off before parroting "kitties need personal space" and letting him go with no fuss.
I am officially happy :)
I am SO glad to hear you are teaching your son to be patient and gentle with cats, I bet he's gonna rescue when he gets older
Yes, he moves quickly when a kitty is in range and correct shoes are usually the first casualty in the battle to get out the door before he gets a better offer!
'Kitties need personal space' (sorry on mobile) but I couldn't have thought of a better way of putting it. They're just like little furry people!
Oh to be a cat in a fishing village:)
"That's right mother fuckers, I have a fish"
Nice shot - permission to use as my desktop?
It's a small village neighborhood cat, so I wouldn't call it a stray :-)
Cuuuute! I have a black kitten and he does the exact same thing. I was worried it was a jaw problem but turns out it is just what black cats do!
He kinda looks like Toothless from How to Train your Dragon
I AM THE NIGHT!
..Can the night have tuna?
There are 3 of them, there is a black one too under its mums tail!
Two teeny weeny kittens? 😻😍
She's a total MILP!
Mom I'd Like to Pet!
Why do you say probably? You really should have her fixed as soon as she's done nursing this litter (and keep her indoors). The fact that she got pregnant assumes she's allowed outside, where she absolutely will get pregnant again within a couple months.
There are no shortage of very adoptable kittens already in shelters around the world. Don't add unnecessarily to cat overpopulation. Be a responsible owner, do the right thing.
This is how every man starts a relationship with cats.
Speaking from experience
edit: Ayy top comment. Wanted to take a second to tell you all about a fun little documentary on Netflix called The Lion In Your Living Room. I'm not getting paid or anything, it's just a great movie, and after I watched it I found a new respect for my little kitties. It's short, about 45 minutes, but really fun and informative!!
There are two types of people. Cat people and people who are in denial.
Absolutely true. We went from "over my dead body" to "let me think about it" in about two years, to "awww, Hello little furry man" in about a week, to "furry boy loves his daddy more than mummy" soon after.
Adorable little manipulative lovely furry bastard.
