She's pretty cute, I'm sorry for your loss. She certainly has a nice blep!
She would bathe herself and would forget what she was doing mid-lick. Her blep was the best blep!
She had a bladder disorder, she peed everywhere all the time. Let's just say they didn't appreciate taking care of her disability. They were just going to put her down, but I refused to do it. So I took her home with me. She had a very spoiled life afterwards, and she deserved it!
How could somebody ever hurt such a beautiful creature? Some people are the worst. She's beautiful. You will always have her in your loving heart :) <3
Blep sensory enhanced vision activated.
For a minute i thought kitty has no arms either! I was distressed
🎵It was a one-eyed, no armed, loafing orange people blepper🎶
Full story: Stan the Man lives at Mog On The Tyne, a cat cafe in Newcastle UK. He's the star of the cafe, and he knows it! He wears a necktie so kids don't mix him up with the other black & white cat in the cafe. Stan gets grumpy sometimes and doesn't like being fussed, so everyone knows to let him come to them, rather than approaching him.
Here's his bio page on the Mog On The Tyne website - http://www.mogonthetyne.com/stan/
Edit1: Woohoo! Me and Stan have made the front page! Thanks for the love, everyone!!! Edit 2: My first Reddit Gold! Thank you, kind stranger!

I think the question on all of our minds is where does he get all those wonderful neckties?
Awww I'm sorry for your loss. What a handsome kitty.
Thanks - he really was 😿
Sleep tight, little blackbaby. And always remember the cover sheet on your TPS reports.
Aww, what a handsome little gentleman, I'm so so so sorry for your loss. It's been just over a year since I lost my baby girl, I miss her everyday, sending you hugs
I'm so sorry for your loss. She looks like she was a beautiful cat with a lot of character. I hope you're doing okay 💗😿
Thank you so much! She had all the personality. I'm so sad today, but so grateful that we got 14 years together. Plus I got to say goodbye -- I always assumed she'd either die in a knife fight or outlive us all, but it was a quiet and beautiful departure.
FWIW, her real name was Marigny Treme Brown-Gervais, though biting was a lifelong passion. I got her from the Japonica Street Pound in the Ninth Ward before Katrina. She got a stately name because she was an elegant and dignified lady, which made her rare ridiculous moments all the better — she normally looked like this.
She survived all kinds of hurricanes, prowled through Mississippi woods and down New Orleans boulevards with equal aplomb, caught rabbits with bells on, had — I am not kidding — thumbs with TWO CLAWS coming out of each, plus toes on the back for a total of 1,426 claws which is maybe why she was once able to take down a raven twice her size.
She acted as though she cared about nothing but I am pretty sure she sometimes liked me. She made cat converts out of two ex-boyfriends and one mother-in-law despite the fact that she regularly drew our blood. She was the ur-cat. For something so little, she sure was big, and I will always miss her.
I have a grumpy gal too. She hates everything but I love her to death.
I'm so sorry you lost your lovely lady. I imagine that it will rip right through me when mine goes. I am glad you got 14 years. It's a long time but still never enough.
I really love this picture of her. Thank you for sharing it!
"Instagram" isn't enough, I NEED TO KNOW THE ACCURATE SOURCE OF THIS CUTENESS!
Specifically, this is from the Instagram account of Cheese and Olive. Instagram @cheeseandolive
No. That account just steals content from actual Instagram accounts. This is from @cheeseandolive, originally.
I hope that one day I am fortunate to be cat mom for an Abyssinian. They're such a beautiful breed of cat.
In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion bleps tonight
I was there last winter and I swear, that lion was in the exact same position as this picture.
His blep makes him seem soft cuddly and approachable.
Your cat definitely stopped working. Touch its belly to restart.
With this particular guy, it's potato chips.
I've heard inserting tuna will also reboot a kitty.
Wow, those eyes!
He's actually just sticking his tongue out at you. He's mocking you.
Hey look human, that's you. Bleeeeehhh.
Obligatory warning: Is your kitten blepping a lot? Every day? Frequently? Because blepping can be a sign that they are in pain and there's something wrong. I will always remember the story of someone who thought their cat was so cute blepping all the time until they had to take them to the vet because they weren't eating and had to have all of their teeth removed.
Whenever I post this, people usually say they've checked with the vet and it's fine, but I'd rather post it just in case.
She probably does it a couple times a day - usually after cleaning herself. We've only had her since this past Thursday after we picked her up from the vet where they did a full checkup as well as neutering. I was wondering the same thing of it possibly being something wrong, but she doesn't seem to be in any pain and doesn't have any problem with me petting under her chin or on the side of her mouth and actually seems to prefers that. She does want to nurse a lot on my fingers, but I don't know if its related.
She is a shy and timid thing except around the other kitten we adopted at the same time as Annie. They love to play together, sometimes a little too rough, but she wears the other one out so I'm assuming that if something is wrong she wouldn't be so energetic or trying to get the other one to play with her all the time. Regardless those are all assumptions and she goes back to the vet in about a week for a rabies booster that she was too young to receive so it is something to ask them to check to make sure.
Is that her tail in between her folded paws? Lol!
yes it is. lol. She's a silly one. =D
I see your Yuki and raise you my Yuki:
I didn't even notice 'til you pointed it out. D'aww! :-P
