Wow. I could have just knocked on this pricks front door with a briefcase of $40k and got him to bend over for me. Unreal.

See now I feel cheap. I'm worth $.003?

Just leaving the response i got regarding NN.

Dear Mr. Mycleanaccount96:

Thank you for contacting me about network neutrality.

As you know, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted on May 18, 2017, to undertake a new rulemaking on restoring Internet freedom. In particular, the agency is seeking to roll back the February 26, 2015 reclassification of broadband Internet under Title II of the Communications Act, which treats it as a “telecommunications service” under the law, and return it to Title I of the Communications Act as an “information service.” The FCC will be accepting public comments on the new rule at fcc.gov/comments until July 17, 2017.

I understand your concerns about telecommunications companies charging additional fees for Internet-based services or blocking service altogether. However, the government must use caution when imposing any new federal mandate on the private sector. In the past, I have opposed rules attempting to enforce network neutrality. The Internet ecosystem is the most vibrant and dynamic sector of our economy and it is important that Congress strike the proper balance between free markets and regulation. I am glad that the FCC has changed course. I also believe that any long-term solution to this issue will need to come from Congress.

Thank you again for contacting me. Please do not hesitate to do so again in the future. I also encourage you to visit my website, which may be found at flake.senate.gov.

Sincerely,

JEFF FLAKE United States Senator

Edit: of course they lock thread about the motherfucking republican corporate cumrags. What a surprise.

This is Arizona Senator John McCain. He sold me and the rest of Arizona out to the telecom lobbyists for $84,125. John McCain has jeopardized our future for less than $100,000.

Let’s not forget about Jeff Flake. I emailed him recently about Net Neutrality and he assured me that I was wrong and Ajit Pai was helping our nation.

The worst part about McCain is not how beholden he is to these corporate interests but how much he tries to come across sometimes as a reasonable man, but still does things that are unreasonable.

Yeah I called and emailed him as well, same result as you. Make a Flake post! Help shine a light on their behavior.

I honestly think he believes that he's doing what's best for the country, which really just makes it scarier. How someone can be so out of the with the people but still represent them is just mind blowing.

John McCain is embarrassing himself on the world stage right now

John McCain is questioning Comey.

And his questions are...

BBbbbbuuut her emails!

He is also purposefully confusing the two investigations to make Comey look partisan.

And he confused Trump and Comey and talked about President Comey at one point.

His senility is on full display.

Several times he confused Comey and Trump.

Half the time his rants didn't even end with a question and was expecting Comey to give an answer (which he did cuz he's a bro and helped the poor man out) but it was an incoherent mess.

Edit: He's in meme territory now

How is it that this old fossil keeps getting reelected? AZ, you can do a lot better.

Do you have any idea how many old fossils in this state vote?

Reward if found.

Reward if found.

I don't get it. He's old as shit, has no remaining presidential ambitions and absolutely nothing to lose. Why not just be the moral compass and go nuts on trump?

By request in /r/Arizona: IAmA Police Officer in Arizona, AMAAWhile I did one awhile ago in the regular IAmA subreddit, I was asked to post one in /r/Arizona. So here we are.

I added the "Almost" to it because I will not answer any questions as to my identity, what agency I work for, or a specific area where I work. This is because I can be accused of policy violations if I give the appearance that I am commenting as a representative of my agency.

And off course, here is my proof

EDIT: WoW. I went to sleep at about 4am last night, and when i woke up there was a flood of new questions and comments. I am not ignoring them, just give me some time and I'll go through and respond the best that I can.

EDIT: #2: Wow again, I got roflstomped with questions and feedback on this one. I am flattered and am doing the best I can to keep up. If you asked a serious questions and I have not replied yet, I apologize and ask for patience. I will go through all of them over time and answer every serious question that I can.

EDIT #3: I finally went through everything and answered every serious question I could. If you had a serious question and I missed it, feel free to message me with it again and I'll be happy to answer.

There is one thing I want to say. There is obviously one thread that sticks out, and that is what I am referring to. I got a lot of responses like this, so rather than type the same thing a dozen times I'm going to put it here. A lot of people commented, saying they were sorry that I had to experience that.

Do not apologize, and do not be sorry that I had to do it. That is just one story of tragedy among many, it just happens to be the worst. I have seen many things in this career which I can only describe as horrors. But do not feel sorry for me having to deal with it. That is why I do this job, and so do many many other Police Officers, EMTs, and Fire Fighters. Someone needs to be there to deal with these things. I do it so you don't have too. I wouldn't have it any other way.
