Don't they need a voting majority to be obstructionists?
Yeah but his supporters don't know that...they just know who the enemy is and how every problem is their fault
A fresh tweet from Trump complaining that he can't get stuff done because of Democrats. How did he feel about Pres. Obama complaining about Republicans doing the same?Obama's complaints about Republicans stopping his agenda are BS since he had full control for two...
The fact that they think of them as enemies is a major problem
At this point in his first year Pres. Obama had golfed 7x, all at DC area military instillations and he didn't grift a single penny from the taxpayers in the process.
Point to Eisenhower's tweet where he criticizes his predecessor for playing less golf.
The point of this subreddit is lost on you. Sad!
The relevant point here isn't that the president golfs a lot, it's that he's a hypocrite.
The Russia stuff is totally fake, just a witch hunt. Also it's real. I hold these two opinions simultaneously
So now we've gone from it didn't happen, to Obama knew and failed to act, when the reality is the dems knew they were hacked and it's documented that you were informed of it by them.
Nothing can beat this tweet. Time for me to unsubscribe, I think I'm done here.
When my 13 year old niece lies even she keeps continuity through the whole story. Sweet Jesus.
To add to the context, Trump's tweets denying that Russia ever interferred:
It's official: Everything he ranted on twitter before becoming the president will happen 10 times bigger
I mean hell, look at reddit.
Here's an article on how divided things can have. A google search turns up thousands of articles on how the Trump Campaign and Administration itself has divided the nation:
Trump went on Fox new this morning and demanded Democrats to work with him on his secret healthcare bill and infrastructure.
So vaccines will cause autism at massive rates?
After 7 Navy sailors were killed, Trump tweeted that his "thoughts and prayers" were with them:
He, within a few minutes, went on to complain about some political opponents running for congress.
How did this douche have the energy to criticize O soooo much?
Every time he remembers the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner he is filled with the white hot rage that has fueled him for years.
Thanks for providing context with these. Makes this sub even better.
As of February, 13 celebrities have visited Mar-a-Largo.
As of December 2016, Trump had visited 5 celebrities to talk about 'life'. Before he was even inaugurated.
My great honor.
Is it an attack to say “The birther movement is bullshit and the people doing it should be ashamed of themselves?”
IIRC thats what happened
That thumbnail pic looks like he's trying not to show his mother that she made him cry.
Trump pays taxes to the UK and Ireland (he owns golf courses in both countries) and if he released his taxes, like he promise he would, we'd know how much Russians and other nations are funneling into Trump Org.
edit: I meant to include this and forgot.
“We don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.” ~ Eric Trump
“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.” ~ Don Jr.
Not only has Trump failed to release his taxes, but Trump Enterprises has also refused to inform House Oversight Committee members about his plans to donate any earnings from foreign government officials who stayed in one of his properties to the U.S. Treasury. Source. However, his federal disclosure form revealed that he earns a great deal of income from licensing his name to overseas companies. Source.
I reckon that if Trump released his returns, not only would he be a hypocrite on both parts of this tweet but he'd probably be like 10% as rich as he says he is...
Because he doesn't care and his supporters don't care.
“I’ve always said, if you run for president, you shouldn’t be allowed to use teleprompters because you don’t even know if the guy is smart.” ~ October 2015
In his defense he didn't use them for quite a while during the campaign. His staff I suspect eventually forced him to start using them so they could control the message a bit more. If I remember, his fans preferred hearing the non-teleprompter talks. All that being said, I still can't fathom how that man was elected to any office, let alone the ones with the nuclear codes.
46% of those eligible to vote did not.
He received a few million more votes than Mitt Romney or John McCain, but otherwise Trump got the Republican voter base, some angry Bernie supporters, and the pedes.
Yep. The blame is on nonvoters far more than those who actually voted for Trump. At least they did their civic duty and voted.
For reference, republican turnout was pretty good and yet democratic turnout was weak compared to Obama's first term. You want your candidate to win? Then vote next time and get your friends to do the same. The people who disagree with you are already voting and their voices are worth infinitely more than yours because they made it heard.
Personally I think not voting is a vote in and of itself. Its like the equivalent of letting your spouse design your interior. You are voting for whatever would make the other guy happy. I would however be in favour of moving election day from a fucking tuesday to the weekend/holiday. That way it doesnt get in the way of people working and feeding their family. Make voting easier.
when I read this, I thought that there was no way that such a halfway decent and cogent missive is an original Trump creation. and sure enough, it comes from the book Trump 101: The Way To Success, which was ghostwritten by Meredith McIver.
EDIT: here it is
The semi colon gave it away lol
Not to mention all of his policy decisions. No idea how much the Wall will cost, doesn't understand "nuclear", believes vaccines cause autism... honestly it would be exhausting to list them out.
This should honestly be the banner or only tweet in the entire sub.
This is it, nothing can one up this tweet, it encapsulates his presidency perfectly
It's pretty much this sub to a tee. Even better because this tweet is a bit meta.
Here's a sampling of Trump's latest tweets:
Context for Trump's tweet:
That tweet was sent during the Ebola hysteria of '14 and since Trump gets all his news from Fox, Newsmax, and Breitbart he was sure that ebola would sweep the nation and kill us all. I'm genuinely concerned how the CDC will react to outbreaks during his tenure.
He keeps giving and giving.I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Direct...
Trump is the person that told himself to fire Comey. If he didn't fire Comey there wouldn't be a special prosecutor. This guy is beyond inept.
