Beware Kyle the Guide for he shall rule your Terraria world with limited/useless help!
Props for being such a stand-up company. I'd rather see another hit like Terraria, than them rushing something to make a cash grab.
To be honest, I'm satisfied with this news. don't get me wrong, I'm sad that it's dead, but I would much rather have a conclusion then endlessly waiting for some sort of news. I've no doubt there will be more Terraria inspired games in the future that resemble the ideas of Otherworld. I hope the devs will learn from this and won't make the same mistake twice.
I still remember the guy who talked about how he was brought on to work on it and there had been no real work done on the project in two years. They were practically stealing from Re-Logic honestly.
Looots of interesting stuff that happened behind the scenes I think for Otherworld. Granted this was the first company that the game was handed to, Re-Logic fired them and gave it to a second company. So now that second company at the very least wasn't able to overcome the idiocy of the first company.
It should have been Terraria 2 from the outset. I remember being confused by this when they announced it, and could never really work up any excitement. I think they wanted to have the core gameplay mechanic revolve around purifying the world? Which, to be honest, is my least favorite part to manage in the base game.
I just didn't see the point of it. And I guess they finally realized that, too.
It looks like you lost one dimension.
Lucky dude spawned right next to a stronghold
Okay. I’mma create the end in Terraria now. Brb.
Also, paint the obsidian blocks of the portal purple.
A fortress. Strongholds are the structures with an End Portal.
Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
Now, let me take a minute, just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
Info: House I built for my upside-Down play through
I like it
It is cool but where do you enter it?
Muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!
Empyrean Knives btw
Vampiric touch spell thank you, and vampiric quality in weapons armor and shit in all kinds of things including games, movies and books lol
OP posted a pic of this statue before but people complained that the sword was too small. This is his remedy
Could have used more random wall placing to get the "ruined building" feel.
It’s still a wip so thank for the suggestion
You could make the entrance as an old well maybe
Looks great so far! The shapes are really pleasing. You could add more walls (background) to make it feel fuller.
Wow that is quite impressive most of my buildings end up looking like boxes........
Step 1: Stop using wood.
Step 2: Break up the silhouette with more interesting shapes. Incorporate negative space like balconies and pillars.
Step 3: Break our your hammer.
Step 5: profit
Love the over all decor of the place. Really nice build!
The over world map from Zelda 3 for SNES. Plus a bonus pic including Hyrule Trophies. https://imgur.com/a/spIaK. This is one of my favorite games of all time and it was especially fun to make as many landmarks as i could with the various sprites Terraria has to offer.
It's like a collage of sprites.
This is absolutely amazing. I'd love to see a larger scale version of it but this is still incredible.
Pic for anyone unfamiliar with the LTTP world map :
Are collages a good thing? btw, good luck on the sewer contest 😉 it's just us for now
