What makes you think that?
Keep her comfy with your hugs and love. She will appreciate more of your time than would be normal, as she is possibly worried too. As always, seek a vets advice on old age care. Best wishes
I know how terrible that feeling is. We all do. We're here if you want to talk about why you think it's time.
One of my rats was just sleeping in my sleeve near my armpit while I played video games. He didn't seem to mind the jerky movements and aggressive clicking lol
Remus was so aggressive that he had to be neutered at about 5 months old. He relentlessly tormented his brother.
After Romulus died we went to the humane society and found a young boy and a tiny baby girl. Remus took some time getting used to the boy (who was separate for a month anyway following his neuter) but he bonded immediately with Ophelia, and could often be found cuddling with her.
Recently we bought three babies from a local breeder. Remus spends most of his time now snuggled up with them. Here he is with Nyx, the youngest of the three.
He’s a grumpy old man, and the best dad ever.
I love his story!!! ❤️
That's one big fuzzy butt. :3
Aww! He's a LoveSac now!
Omg...what a beautiful lump. I totally understand the violent cuteness factor. Today I was tickling my baby Hiccup and he was popcorning and running around and I wanted to slam my head into the wall it was so precious.
He looks so sweet!
What is "popcorning"? Is it that crazy little hop they do before running around like goobers?
Yes! It is a way they initiate play with eachother. My Hiccup starts popcorning and then Merryweather catches the popcorn and the zoomies!
Awww my little guy used to go EVERYWHERE with me and had a little harness like that. He was an only baby who didnt seem to know he was a rat and just acted like a dog. He loved going for rides in the car, playing with any animal he could get to pay attention to him and even rode in my horses saddle bag when I'd go to town. Really think I need to get rats again.
Rat harness is very cute.
My new desktop wallpaper! A lovely picture and I suspect a very happy "creepy crawler"
No, these are not whisker extensions you silly hoomans.
That is a truly great photo.
those whiskers !!!! I am in love !
Theater rat looks like tommy wiseau on that “the room” poster. In all seriousness, that rat is so cute!
They're adorable! How anyone could abandon such beauties is beyond me.
On a side note, how have you gotten on with the tube? We had the slightly larger red one and my idiot boys just chewed a million holes in it and left a bunch of plastic everywhere!
Your wife and you are heroic with beautiful hearts.
Wishing your whole family everything wonderful and loving together.
Such beautiful ratties! I'm glad you took them in, I know you'll give them a good home :)
A few little nibbles not.much so far
I love them
They are so peaceful. I love the names.
Man this pic makes me miss my ratty babies. I had one that would break out of her cage at night and snuggle on my neck when I was asleep.
