Put that thing back where it came from or so help me
This is very unsettling.
If I saw this in person I would never go to the beach again
Looks like 5 conjoined centipedes. Gross thanks.
TIL some bats make tents...and now I'm down a Wikipedia rabbit hole. Don't save me, it's cute down here.
AND they made their little leaf tent!!
This must be fake. I feel like this picture has been posted but the snake was different colours.
the snek in the pic have it’s colors changed so many times. I wish I could find the original pic to see how it’s original colors are.
It has been posted here numerous times with other colors. If you do a quick google search you will see the original is different.
KD looks real pretty man
Looks like turquoise jewellery
All hail Hypno Gecko!
Geckos are some of the most fire animals
Filmed by National Geographic photographer and director Keith Ladzinski in the Santa Marta mountains of Colombia.
Horses with slow motion abilities? Lit as Fuck.
Santa Marta area is beautiful. Tayrona as well.
Such amazing creatures.
This animal is stunning, but it probably wouldn't fare too well in the wild. I'm glad it's in a safe exhibit
Gee, I don't know, Cyril. Maybe deep down I'm afraid of any apex predator that lived through the K-T extinction. Physically unchanged for a hundred million years, because it's the perfect killing machine. A half ton of cold-blooded fury, the bite force of 20,000 Newtons, and stomach acid so strong it can dissolve bones and hoofs.
I mean sure but predators have the ability to make moral judgement outside of instinct. And their instinct is not to attack at random anyway.
Yeah, most likely. Albino animals, especially predators, have a really hard time in the wild.
That, my friend, is an insect.
This is a robber fly; they eat a wide variety of insects. They can bite you too if provoked but don't actually feed on blood
The Asilidae are the robber fly family, also called assassin flies. They are powerfully built, bristly flies with a short, stout proboscis enclosing the sharp, sucking hypopharynx. The name "robber flies" reflects their notoriously aggressive predatory habits; they feed mainly or exclusively on other insects and as a rule they wait in ambush and catch their prey in flight.

Kinda looks like a large mosquito. I don’t know what those are, but they’re common here in Australia.
I challenge anyone to come up with an octopus that isn’t 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They are experts in Man'o'warfare
“You come in one hour, darling. I insist, okay? Okay. Goodbye.”
Baked in a cave holding a bat is hella baked.
Especially if you're as stoned as that guy.
Soo a bat?
It would be awesome if those ear flap feathers could work as backup wings
Basically a bird version of Dumbo?
Birds have ears?
