UFC on Fox 26 Lawler vs RDA Bout Order and Times Set

I’m hard for this card

perry should be co-main wtf >:(

Didn't realize my boy Bamgbose is fighting. Must watch to see if he throws the double axe chop again.

Lamas vs Emmett should be the main card opener

Due to colitis, GSP unsure if he will fight in middleweight division again

Who would have thought?!

Crazy how a disease can prevent you from fighting in a higher weight class, huh.

The only cure is to cut more weight

UFC should promote Bobby Knuckles to undisputed than, no shame in vacating for GSP

Michael Bisping admits fighting Kelvin Gastelum was 'the wrong move'

Michael Bisping admits fighting Kelvin Gastelum was 'the wrong move'

No shit

I hope he is still involved with the UFC after retirement. I like him as a person.

It's a good interview but the article title's a bit click-baity. The quote reads pretty differently in context.

“It didn’t go my way, as everybody knows and saw. I felt great going into that fight, I did. Looking back in hindsight, was I overtrained and emotionally and physically tired? Yes I was, but the problem with having a fucking huge ego and thinking you can still beat people is that I knew that but I still thought I could beat Kelvin Gastelum. Not taking anything away from him. He caught me with a beautiful left hook that put me down. God bless him."

“It was a big gamble, it didn’t pay off. Had it paid off it would have been great but that’s what you do. You roll the dice, you give it a shot, and you hope for the best, and the best man, I guess that was Kelvin so well done to him.”

“That fight was me trying to exorcise some inner demons and try and get back in the win column ASAP. As I said, it was a huge gamble and for many reasons it was the wrong move, but I don’t regret it. If you look at the grand scheme of things . . . I can see that it was the wrong move, but at the time it felt right, so I don’t regret it."

“I’m not looking to become champion again, I’m looking to finish off my career with a couple of fun fights. I went out there, I didn’t get the job done. I couldn’t give a fuck about rankings. I’m not trying to be the champion again. I had that, that was fun, it was a nice time in my life, I can always claim to have had that title, and now it’s time to move on with my life."

“I’m totally fine with it. I’m 38 years old. I’ve got a wife and kids. I’ve got other things I want to focus on in life. Will I do one more fight? Yeah, probably. But that phase of my life now is done and I’m happy with that. . . You can’t fight forever. I was a champion, no one remains a champion forever, and I’m proud of that.”

Going to try to give this place props. I love this community. Now let's just hope I make it in time with this CRAZY LA traffic.

Ask him why he's still ducking Wesley Snipes

Would you pass on that we'd welcome an AMA with him? TY :)

Thanks! I appreciate the encouragement :-) This is my main source of MMA news as of the last 2-3 years, loving it here!

I'll try to suggest/mention it!

Preliminary talks are underway to book Robert Whittaker vs. Luke Rockhold for UFC 221 in Perth

Preliminary talks are underway to book Robert Whittaker vs. Luke Rockhold for UFC 221 in Perth

Countdown for Whittaker being promoted to the undisputed MW champion starts now.

Having to defend an interim belt...fucking ridiculous.

“reigning defending undisputed interim champion”, more like it.

GSP should just vacate and get it over with.

Cormier is as tough as they come.

That head kick was skill.

...acquired by consuming a lot of Tropicana TM

It took a juiced up jones with a great gameplan to finish this man. My only concern is that he's taken a lot of damage in the past couple of fights that his chin might be wearing out.

DC is a god damn warrior, most heart in MMA imo

3 years ago at UFC 181 Lawler unleashes a flurry on Hendricks.

The way he walks away is hilarious. He's getting the crap kicked out of him, and then he just goes in the opposite direction like he's thinking, "Yep. Another rough day at work again."

Had Hendricks winning on my scorecard but happy Lawler won.

I hope all the wars he's had don't affect his chances at thinking

Agreed. I thought it was a pretty clear 48-47 for Hendricks. Trowbridge's 49-46 for Lawler was embarrassing.

Edit: words

Chan Sung Jung battles Dustin Poirier on the ground

I see Korean Zombie vs. Poirier, I upvote.

He's hurt bad. He released the radiologist's report when he had to pull out last summer. He tore, if I can recall correctly, some menisci and collateral ligaments as well as a couple other things in one of his knees. I feel like knee and spinal injuries are career ending at worst and at best degrade performance. I'm a huge Chan Sung Jung fan but I believe his best days are behind him. He looked decent against Dennis Bermude but I don't the fight was long enough to display where he is at as a fighter after such a long lay off, multiple joint injuries, and the ridiculous amount of damage accumulated through wars.

This fight was so amazing. I wish we had gotten more than one fight from this year.

What's up with the Zombie anyway? Is he hurt?

“I only have to thank my family that I love for everything, and my team Nova Uniao, the best in the world, for making me great and champion, and [thank] my friends and fans that are always with me. Thank you all! I will be always optimistic because believing is the first step to making it happen."

Massive respect for Jose after this fight. A case of real recognizing real in the Max Holloway bouts. He could retire with nothing left to prove, but if he wants to fight on and see out his contract, can still see him beating guys 2-6. Good luck to him.

An unexpected turn at the UFC weigh ins

An unexpected turn at the UFC weigh ins

This was fucking adorable.

Right? Now I want them both to win decisively, leaving the other a dejected broken heap. It’s confusing.

I did it, Reddit!!!

well it ended up being a draw so congrats
