This is a product of my participation in the Reddit Gifts Secret Santa 2017 exchange. The day-glow yellow post its are standard size (for scale).
What's the source for this artwork? I remember seeing it a while back but I haven't been able to find it again since.
you're supposed to use a banana for scale ;)
It’s like OP wanted to get to 3000 and stop, but “I just finished the last part of this space station”
That's...pretty much exactly it, actually. Well spotted.
Might as well go to 4000 now.
I started launching the exe directly so that I wouldn't know

No he doesn’t, but he’s a space enthusiast and he always listens to me speaking about Kerbal and rocket science. He asked me a rocket for his fridge and so we made an SLS-ish even with grandma; in the meantime I taught him how a rocket works.
Your grandfather plays KSP? Most people over 60 I know are barely able to turn a computer on, let alone build and fly rockets with. Good for him for being with the times.
"Bye have a great time"
That was intense. You stayed airborne a lot longer than I thought you would with just the one spinny thing.
"I can't do this, let's break up."
I think it has 4

Wait. Wrong subreddit...
The kerbalnauts that make it back safely
YOU'VE GOT A WING RIGHT IN YOUR HOLE
Who said KSP is boring?
I don't think I have the problem that this solves.
Kerbal Air Hockey? Stargate Portal?
See, it's working already!
"Why" is probably the wrong question to ask, isn't it?
How did it fly?
In retrospect, putting the engine on the bottom is obvious, especially since we have seen tons of rockets using this design. But come to think of it, it's a lot more intuitive to think that an exhaust at the top would be a lot more stable. I get why the early design made this "mistake"
Because of it we now have a better understanding of where to place the engine.
It didn't fly very well, but it was a great achievement for the time. The fuel was stored on the bottom of the rocket and the "engine" was at the top.
How long did it take?
OP can't do the fun stuff he used to do? Almost certainly some combination of wife and kids
This is one of the coolest projects I've seen undertaken in KSP. Glorious!
Lol how is this even possible?
Destruction FX seems to be acting up
Michael Bay Space Program: "I've heard you like explosions, I give you MORE explosions!"
But I thought they weren't active or calculated in the hangar though, right?
For anyone who wants a copy of the demo version of the game: here it is.
It's been missing from kerbalspaceprogram.com for a while now.
You misspelled my name.
Oh fuck I did
I am so sorry I'll try and get that changed now
Congrats! Now if only you could download the game (at least the demo) from the website, that would be awesome!
