Pretty funny he's going to Missouri to campaign for it. Next door neighbour Kansas has had a heavily reduced corporate tax rate for a few years and they are deep in the hole. So much the deeply republican legislature overrode governor Brownback to implement higher taxes.
Let's hope Missouri and the rest can learn from the failed Kansas experiment and not fall for this bullshit.
Deficits only matter when the Democrats have power.
Just watch, as soon as Trump is out in 2020 suddenly deficits will matter again.
Same applies to hurricane relief. When it was hurricane relief for Sandy victims, mostly Democrats in mostly blue states, suddenly it was all important that the relief be paid for by cutting other programs (not the military of course). And all but nine Republican Senators voted against the relief package anyway.
Now that the victims are in a red state suddenly hurricane relief is a good thing, and Cruz and Cornyn (who both voted against Sandy relief) are begging for federal money and demanding that it not be held up the way they held up Sandy relief.
IOKIYAR applies to more than scandals.
You are clearly overestimating the population of Missouri.

Yep, we're fucked.
I'd fear for my safety. Maybe they will have a POC section with guards.
