You know what all that matters to me is that both Nintendo and Platinum want to keep Bayonetta going despite it not being the major seller it should be IMO. Bayonetta is fucking great, can’t wait to see what's next for this franchise!
With stuff like Xenoblade and Bayonetta, I think Nintendo hardly cares how they sell. It is all about broadening their catalog.
Reggie always knows how to hype people up. I've never even played Bayonetta and he still got me excited for it.
Also Bayonetta 1 & 2 coming to Switch February 16th
I thought this looked like a PS3 game and the words Early Access are never a positive.
Can't say this one impressed me too much.
Looks like they took the primary enemies from prey and put them in a snow setting with a gameplay elementsimiliar to horizon zero dawn or Tomb Raider 2011. Im blown away at how unoriginal it looks.
I just want to point out that in THQ's facebook page they say this game is:
Currently in development for PC and Next Generation consoles, Fade to Silence is launching on Steam Early Access on December 14, 2017.
The Steam page does list it at needing 12 Gb of RAM and it's been 4 years since the launch of current gen, so there's very little chance this was a mistake. So with that in mind, is this the first next-gen game announced?
This is some fucking skyrim graphic?
"We don't want to announce the game too early so here we are announcing that we will announce the new Tomb Raider game next year!"
I wonder who's developing the game this time around. Crystal Dynamics are doing that Marvel Avengers game still i believe.
Kind of a boring way to confirm the game exists, haha.
it won't be very long between the official reveal and when you can play
That's great, I much prefer that approach to releasing games. Hopefully Square Enix as a whole will start doing this, so we don't end up with more FFVII Remake situations.
Edit: Actually, this message isn't as boring as it first seems! @SocksyBear on Twitter noticed that if you take the first letter of each sentence, it spells out "Shadow", likely confirming that the game will be called Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as indicated by earlier leaks.
yes. One of the most random leaks ever. Like the guy who spotted AC Black Flag on a plane lol
Didn't some guy in the Montreal subway spot a powerpoint presentation for the potentially next Tomb Raider game last year?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider if I remember correctly
So the rumours of a new DMC should be true after this HD release, right?
There really isn't any reason to do this unless Devil May Cry 5 is on the way.
FINALLY A PROPER PC VERSION
there is no possible way that this port is going to be worse than the one done years ago, pcsx2 is literally the only way to play that game
Tbf they did just remaster dragons dogma and that series has no sequal in sight.
Interestingly, this was just a major theme of the recent AMA with the devs.
One of the goals of the AMA was so the devs could get feedback of what features people would like to see, and the top two ideas were a level editor, and PVP. I wonder if they were working on this already and just finished as a coincidence or if they actually changed their development priorities based on community feedback.
I do have to give the devs props. They made an amazing game that respects the IP of two vastly different properties and combines them in a way that makes both better. I don't think anyone expected this game to be as good as it is when the concept of "Rabbids x Mario RPG" leaked earlier this year.
They must have had it nearly ready, the AMA was like last week and I doubt they made the entire mode in a week. Nintendo's certification for an update takes longer than that alone.
Game just dropped to $40 MSRP too.
Which surprised me until I remembered that it's technically and Ubi title and not Nintendo.
I mean it was 2 months ago but that's pretty close to a week!
Injustice 2 - 2017 Game Discussions
Name: Injustice 2
Platform(s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: May 16, 2017
Developer: NetherRealm Studios
Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive EntertainmentTrailer/Review Scores/Discussion
Injustice 2 is a fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game was initially released in May 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; a Microsoft Windows version was released later in November 2017. Similar to the previous installment, a companion mobile app was released for Android and iOS devices.
Did you play Injustice 2? Did you like it? Why or why not?
How does it compare to other games from 2017?
Injustice 2 is a great fighting game and is the best one currently for people that are searching single player developed environments: the multiverse and the various gear for every character (even if sometimes limited for characters like catwoman or Atrocitus) are amazing and offer an incredible amount of replayability, the offered cinematographical effects are amazing and the main story is always fun to play.
Injustice 2 Is the first fighting game where I have tried to be actually good and it's definitely the easiest to pick up compared to street fighter, tekken 7 or MVCI. The online is still very populated and it's very easy to find a match.
That said, the gear system is not even near its true potential, besides the gear from Justice League and the Wonderwoman films (and even then it was lackluster) almost no gear has been added, the game has a big problem for most of the casual crowd because of zoning, characters like deadshot or starfire can zone you out if you do not know how to avoid them and this usually proves especially hard to do if you are new to the game.
Overall I'd give injustice 2 an 8/10, we will see if it will understands its problems in the future and try to better itself.
I personally do not like paying for online (ps plus or xbox live) so when I saw that they had an offline gear system I was pretty excited for the game. I actually ended up playing the game a lot more then I thought I would after completing the story since the ever changing multiverses keep adding different variations of fights. Also they weren't assholes about their lootbox system, you can earn a lootbox every ten minutes if you want.
Picked this up for $20 on Black Friday deals and boy is this game gorgeous to look at in HDR. The various colors and backgrounds in motion are amazing and the game is a really solid fighter. It's nice that NetherRealm is also keeping the story mode alive in fighting games where Street Fighter has all but abandoned it (or achieving anything close to what Injustice is doing).
DC might be slacking on film but their games are stellar and Injustice is no different. It's hard not to smile seeing the little character intros for matches as callbacks to the comics. Plus Ninja Turtles added! I haven't played any of the other fighters from this year but Injustice 2 is so stellar
I think it's a good product but as a fighting game player, Injustice and Mortal Kombat animations and gameplay are just so awful. I really wish they would totally scrap their traditional methods of doing this and make a real effort at animations and mechanics that are solid for fighting gameplay. It's like motion cap being shoehorned into fighting gameplay with no impact and floaty looking collision. It just doesn't fit.
Hard to believe this game is getting more game modes this long after release. I hope this line of DLCs coming out for this game ends with an announcement of a sequel.
EDIT: It also appears that this is a standalone game, so players who do not own the full Dying Light game will still be able to play.
I rolled my eyes at multiplayer at first but reading their concept, it seems pretty interesting! Loved the base game and the story expansion.
game ends with an announcement of a sequel.
I would be really surprised if that was the case, because Techland is working really hard since 2015 on their new "unannounced" IP, so I wouldn't count on a sequel for Dying Light, until that game is released.
I'll try this out for sure, Dying Light's core gameplay is great and this sounds like an awesome blend of pve/pvp. Ready to parkour over some zombies again!
It should have been $5 or free. It's complete shit. They literally took content away that I (as a PC player) have only had access to for 43 days. Fuck off Bungie.
They took away access to content that people had already paid for. 3 pieces of content are available at the highest 'power level' - prestige raids, prestige nightfalls, and trials of the nine.
The expansion raised the maximum power level for players who purchase it.
Instead of adding a separate version of those activities for players who have purchased the DLC vs those who haven't, they just bumped up the power level to the DLC cap for all players. Players who haven't purchased the DLC literally cannot do those activities any more.
You know, a couple weeks ago there was an interview where they said, "In the absence of information, people will—rightly so—move themselves to believe that we created this system to fuck them—to be shitty, greedy jerks"
Well, they are shitty greedy jerks. This is absolutely indefensible. There are players who purchased the base game a week ago, who are now locked out of content that THEY HAD ACCESS TO WHEN THEY PURCHASED IT.
Bungie use manipulative tactics on their playerbase and they do not deserve anyone's money or respect.
$25 here, it's bad. For an expansion allegedly deeply steeped in lore the writing is abysmal. Don't even bother, in fact, unless you can get Destiny 2 for a steep discount, don't bother in general. It's got some addicting gameplay but once you've beaten the raid... that's it. There's hardly and PvP maps, the patrol zones are wildly varying in quality. It's gorgeous and sounds nice, and plays kinda well, but there's a lack of things to do . I also don't understand the distinction between a 'live' team and a 'core' team that they always talk about... other than this abysmal DLC, the game hasn't had any content updates, and no the 'faction wars' which just adds vendors with reskins doesn't count.
People forget that the first two DLC for Destiny 1 were also shit. This is a disgusting trap from bungie, because they wanted you to buy the season pass that include the first two DLC making you believe that you will get a great deal. But those two DLC (just like in destiny 1) are lame and short.
The real expansion will come after that, the one that is outside the season pass. The one that everyone needs to pay, season pass owner or not.
Tell the companies they infringed on, they'll be happy to know the company is keeping profits based on their intellectual properties.
Any pics? Some dumbass used photobucket in 2017
Any normal person would realize that if you delete DLC from a player, you automatically give them back the fake money they paid for it. This is clearly malicious/in bad faith.
If you've been affected by this, please submit a complaint to the California Attorney General's office since 2K is based in California.
Hahahhahahaa oh wow.
You read "Portal announcement at TGA" and you get a fuckign reskin of Bridge Constructor.
Hahahha this is fucking hilarious. Valve is a joke for actually going for that crossover instead of doing nothing.
There was rumors said that something Portal Related set for The Game Awards , this is it ?
Poly Bridge refurbished?
I am buying into the conspiracy that Valve is actively trolling us here and this is an elaborate misdirect. There is no way this is a real thing.
At this point, I don't even know why I get excited anymore, I'm just setting myself up for dissapointment.
