Headline should read "Donald Trump branded international embarrassment for the 5274th time....."
It's obvious that, despite all of his self-proclaimed negotiation skills, Trump is entirely incapable of negotiating a deal amongst equals. He's only ever been a "dealmaker" when there's a huge power imbalance in his favor.
Donald is aggressively stupid.
The only thing he's successfully accomplished it to convince a large group of people that he's actually any sort of businessman. He's simply a con-artist. There really isn't much more to it.
Well, yeah, fake news has no place in official Congress.
Congress is gonna get such a smack from Trump's highest ranking adviser who has absolutely no financial or personal interest in this obviously sane decision.
Excellent. A fake news outlet for all the fake patriotic people living in a fake reality. Why do they even need access to congress anyway when they can just makeup their fake congress? Buggers.
Breitbart: The real fake news
HRC not in prison. No Muslim ban. Mexico not paying for a wall. ObamaCare = Law of the Land
So much LOSING.
No measures taken to solve the hellscape of Chicago crime. No deportation of 11 million illegals. No global defeat of ISIS. No American steel for the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Donald Trump is a scam just like his University was.
Sadly there have been deportations, just mostly of law abiding individuals who have been here for years and have families and children's to take care of.
It has been said Trump never had a "honeymoon" period with voters, but he did. With the GOP base. Looks like that might begin to change.
My honeymoon period is just starting with Donald. At the end of the day you just have to admire the little things, like his hands. He's really a gifted nobleman. Did you hear the news? He's actually really young. he's not 70 years old, that's fake, he's 33, with a full head of beautiful hair, and those teeth!!! his teeth are just majestic, and so real. I just love his little cutey cutey duck mouth! Just wanna squeeze him!!
The fact that he keeps fighting the most conservative Republicans has brought down his approval in his own party but 81 percent is still nuts
This poll predates Trump's tremendous loss over health care. That humiliation will take a toll. Can't wait to see how it impacts his numbers next week.
In case anyone has forgotten, this is from last week:
"President Trump helped write embattled Obamacare replacement bill, Speaker Ryan says as he defends plan"
In Trump's defense (kind of?), I seriously doubt he contributed a single idea to the bill other than a general suggestion that it be "terrific."
Is it oxymoronic to have any Republican's name portmanteau-d with the word 'care'?
Half the republican caucus hates it because it fucks people over and the other half hates it because it doesn't fuck people over enough. What a shit-show.
BREAKING: Trump Has Told Washington Post THey Have Pulled The Health Care Bill - There will be no vote
“We just pulled it,” President Trump told the Washington Post in a telephone interview.
He says this wasn't his decision. It was Reince Preibus, Mike Pence, and Paul Ryan that wanted to do this.
Update: Coming up, we have to look forward to Ryan talking to the Press, followed by Trump coming out to give remarks. And Nancy Pelsoi somewhere in there.
Ryan is up now. He openly takes the blame "I told Trump we needed to pull it and he agreed" and "Obamacare is the law of the land".
Pelosi is up. "Today is a great day for our country and a great day for our people."
"A victory for the ACA and the American people"
Trump remarks for Oval Office:
"This was difficult because democrats would vote for it"
"Obamacare is exploding. States have big problems."
"With no democrat support we couldn't get there"
"People don't realize how good our bill was because this was just phase one. We had 2 and 3, but you couldn't see that until we got this"
"Obamacare will have a bad year"
"The losers are Pelsoi and Schumer."
"The democrats need to work up a bill for us"
"I worked as a team player."
"What happened today was the best thing that could have happened because we will end up with a great health care system after Obamacare explodes and the dems have to fix it"
"We learned a lot about loyalty."
"We will go for tax reform right now"
"Remember no dem support. It would have worked better with dem support."
"long history of liking and disliking within Rep party, long before I got here"
"Bad things are going to happen to Obamacare"
Again with "Obama knew he wouldn't be here in 2017", insinuating that Obama set the bill up to fail, specifically, this year.
"When you get no votes from the other side it's not going to work"
"Really disappointed in the freedom caucus"
"I didn't like a lot in this bill but I thought it was a good bill"
"Look, I never said repeal and replace Obamacare in the first 64 days"
Huh, its like complaining about Obama for 7 years is easier than actually trying to think of something better.
Per Trump's request. Are Trump supporters sick and tired of winning yet?!?!
Obstructing is all they're good at. So good the Democrats didn't even have to lift a finger. Bumbling idiots can't even agree among themselves
Somewhere Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are laughing their asses off
Yes. It's happening. My body is ready.
What's even more amazing is that the folks over on the no no sub actually think that Trump was vindicated and that he was proven correct. They are literally living in opposite world over there.
I was told yesterday that I wasn't a republican by a Canadian trumpet because I don't like trump.
I was kicked from a conservative sub for praising mattis and questioning how this all will effect the party, comrades conservatives on reddit have a screw loose.
Well over 80% of your party supports him so...
If I were you, I would be taking a long hard look as to why I am a member of this party.
sigh Remember when we had a president who wasn't a total embarrassment and national shame?
Can't believe it has only been two months....:(
When human decency looks like godliness you know you're living in dark times.
Could be 94.
You should never, NEVER underestimate the stupidity of an American voter.
Manafort's plan to 'greatly benefit the Putin Government'
C'mon folks, this is totally normal... I mean, Manafort only played a bit part as Trump campaign manager. It's not like he was the campaign manager when the GOP changed the Ukraine/Russia platform (he was).
It's not like he has connections to Putin and Russian oligarchs through the Ukraine and pro-Putin former Ukrainian president Yanukovych, who paid him an undisclosed $12+ million for his work (https://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/08/15/us/politics/paul-manafort-ukraine-donald-trump.html).
You folks act like he has been laundering money or something (https://www.usnews.com/news/national-news/articles/2017-03-21/lawmaker-paul-manafort-laundered-75...).
The liberal media acts like this guy's own daughter stated in text messages to her sister that Manafort had Ukrainian protestors killed (http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/10/politics/ukraine-manafort-hacked-texts/).
Pfft, next you're going to tell me that Manafort keeps a residence at Trump Tower, even after he left the Trump campaign, and that he may have secretly worked on the Trump transition team (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/11/30/torture-lobbyist-paul-manafort-still-advising-do...).
Manafort proposed in a confidential strategy plan as early as June 2005 that he would influence politics, business dealings and news coverage inside the United States, Europe and the former Soviet republics to benefit the Putin government, even as U.S.-Russia relations under Republican President George W. Bush grew worse.
But yeah, connections between the Trump campaign and Russia are totally fake news, guys
Dear friend, no bad to see here, now go with me and watch great Yankee sports game of footing the bail.
this is why trump won safe space china bowling green massacre alternative facts triggered snowflake puppet
Headline: "Trump aide did such-and-such shady shit with Russia"
Me: "Which aide was it this time?"
Probably all of them. To be a trump aid you need to be a Russian spy, a neonazi, or have ties to organized crime
How are these people supposed to be the representatives of the country, when they are hiring foreign agents to be National Security Advisors. All while the party of "patriotism" toes the line for Trump. I watched the Comey testimony yesterday, and it was obvious that Republicans are putting their party before their country. They dont want to stand up for their fellow Americans. They dont want to strive to make America a better place to live, or even honour the values from which America derives its greatness. They want to accumulate power for themselves. They want to look the other way, so that Russia can meddle in our democratic system, as long as they end up on top.
I'm infuriated by all of this bullshit, and somehow its the flag-waving pseudo-patriots that end up supporting this clown car of a train wreck - every time you think that Trump has lowered the bar, he pulls more bullshit out.
I recently started /sub/newpatriotism as an attempt to take back the word patriotism from those who have used it to mean mindless nationalistic showmanship. Patriotism should be about deriving pride from the values ones nation strives to represent. Like acceptance, compassion, freedom. Not from shameless self-enrichment and dropping bombs on foreign lands. I would encourage anyone who reads this and feels the same way to come participate. Real Patriotism knows no borders. Anyone who is willing to stand up for Patriotic values is a brother in my eyes.
