There's something about that first time, almost unsettling.
To realize something with such detail, that you can look at it and it's so alien yet makes so much sense. You can almost see the moon's orbital paths in your head.
It was passing through the sky every day and for years I never thought to look at it, or even recognize it was there
this is super impressive. I work as a PhD student at Heidelberg University in theoretical physics and cosmology, if you're from the area, you should check out the life science lab and Wolke 7, which are both programmes for interested pupils.
