Why we ignore the main quest for a mini game???

How about a game of Gwent?

Geralt your daughter is dead.

Because if you rush straight to the main quest, you "finish" the game faster. And if it's a good game, you don't want that.

No.

this is why im blown away by games like elder scrolls and gta. they have incredible atmospheres that you can just lounge around in. and npcs are walkin around like normal people. it is insane. we are so lucky to have great entertainment.

NPC: "Dragons are attacking [nearby village]!

Me: "Cool, but if I don't make this chair, I'll never get my recreation of Bilbo's hobbit hole finished."

Yeah and? Shuffle up n deal!

I spent a lot of time playing golf in GTAV

The fire won't spread during side quests!

Because the mini game is fun/addicting and there most likely a reward for doing it
