I don't even have 700 wins on Career Mode
Interesting statistic, if you take away wins gained by injury time goals he actually only won 4
Lionel Messi - 43 year old Fitness Coach for Blackburn
Yeah but let's be honest career mode becomes a lot less fun when everyone you know retires.
Alex Ferguson has won 894 with Man U.
That's why you should play FM instead. When everyone you know retires, that's when the game gets fun.
Come off it. De Gea completely saved you. Your "defense" let up 14 shots on goal.
From Arsenal.com:His first win came against Blackburn Rovers, on October 12, 1996. Ian Wright scored twice in a 2-0 victory at Ewood Park. The manager with the next most wins for Arsenal is Bertie Mee, with 241. The wins have come in the Premier League (466), Champions League (96), FA Cup (78), League Cup (43), Uefa Cup/Europa League (10), Community Shield (7). The side he has beaten most often is Everton (31) His biggest win is 7-0, recorded three times (against Everton in 2005, Middlesbrough in 2006 and Slavia Prage in 2007) The most common winning scoreline is 2-1 (126) 216 of the wins came at Emirates Stadium. His most wins in a season is 39 in 2001/02 The 700 wins came from 1,199 games at a rate of 58.4 per cent.
For all the shit he gets, it'll be a sad day when he finally steps down. Premier League legend and imo at least among the top 25 managers ever
The 700 wins came from 1,199 games at a rate of 58.4 per cent.
That's actually an insanely good win record
fucks sake he'll retire in the top 4
Well you still see the names, they're just managing all the other clubs now or they're coaches/scouts.
I'm assuming you watched it? And saw that De Gea made some amazing saves and robbed us multiple times?
that's the emirates though, he had the best part of 10 years at highbury
195 to go...
don’t really think mou had a lot to do with the loss against united tbh
My point was De Gea and De Gea only robbed us multiple times. If you had Romero in net who do you think would have won the match?
It all makes sense now, that's why he won't retire.
Strongly disagree and I think a lot of neutrals and a lot of United fans would disagree with you as well.
Mourinho loves ruining a Wenger milestone doesn’t he?
1000th match? 6-0 drubbing Potential for 700th win? 3-1 win whilst getting battered
In the premier league he has to be top 3 - only Fergie and Mourihno ahead/on par. Perhaps Guardiola will overtake Wenger eventually? (based on premier league only obviously)
No one will win so many matches with one club.
Also, he’s now only 700 wins away to hit 1400.
We can dream
I'm still not relevant
The manager with the next most wins for Arsenal is Bertie Mee, with 241.
Which he beat in 2006. That means that he's taken 458 wins since then.
It's up there as one of my worst - alongside Birmingham, the CL final and a few others.
too small of a sample size currently
Oh shit that's right
The man. The meme. The legend.
And my last season was basically forcing myself through it to try to set an insane points record (36-1-1, 109 points.)
By any chance do you "load game" after a loss or draw.
And you've got nothing but silhouettes and repeated names to work with. It's 2027 and the only player I recognize is Andrew Kennedy
Oh got it. so, not the match with silverware on the line that chelsea lost? Or didn't you lose two?
Idk. most saves get boring after 2-3 seasons. Most ive ever done is 5. And my last season was basically forcing myself through it to try to set an insane points record (36-1-1, 109 points.) Just gets incredibly boring after you have improved everything and are just playing for the sake of it, already knowing youve become the best.
Lower league saves are really fun if you get into them but with 48 legue games seasons they just take forever. The furthest ive gone is 4 and a half seasons and that took probably 150-200 hours.
Playing for example Livepool, or my usual fm teams in the past Swansea and Watford, the first 2 seasons are really addicting, then you suddenly realize theres not much point to continue and it immidiately stops being fun.
