Literally Nazis

Bad people? Yes. Nazis? That's a bit of a stretch.

That minute when you need a cool salute so you copy the Romans but you didn't do your research.

There are many countries that caused a holocaust similar to the nazis.

Jews were discriminated everywhere. It gets overshadowed by what the Reich did, but nobody liked the jews in Europe before coming to their senses after WWII. They actually had a slightly better life in the USA (slightly, still not good), that's why a lot of them immigrated there.

Ironically enough Germany used to be one of the best places to live for jews. They were welcomed into Prussia as second-grade citizens (but at least as citizens). In World War I Russia burned down jewish villages on their western border in fear the jews would defect to the germans.

Jews in general also worked harder than the average german to make themselves useful for the Kaiserreich in WWI. When racist army generals tried to show that the jews weren't pulling their weight, they accidentally discovered that their numbers of joining the army were above average.

We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population

Kind of interesting that you thought the entire quote might have undermined your point - "The ministers work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

You use the quote to convict her of the very thing she was suggesting was a line of attack that might be levelled at her work.

Yep, Russia had pogroms long before crystal night. Most prominent political prisoners had been sent to either Siberia or worse - to prisoner mining camps.

Even nowadays political prisoners have been sent to Uranium mines (namely Hodorkovsky)

Weather or not they used gas chambers is irrelevant.

Girls. Girls! You're BOTH pretty.

I know this has been submitted before but I had not read far enough to see that they not only contemplated going beyond sterilization with gas chambers (years before nazis) but actually did try to give them TB. Holy shit, the Holocaust really started in the USA sort of.
