These comments pop up any time someone posts a cake made with fondant.
Marshmallow fondant has a much nicer flavour. Pretty sure OP is British and our fondant doesn't taste as artificial or gross as whatever the main brands in America are (I think Satin Ice?). Anyway, it's easy to peel off if you don't like it and there should be plenty of buttercream frosting around the outside and inside the cake anyway.
Anyway you could post a guide on how you made it? Please...
