This is where I work. Scribe Winery in Sonoma. Somehow, by the power of calfire, it was saved. The eventual line where it ended was just feet from the structures. No structures or souls lost. Just some good news in a sea of bad. Thought it was a powerful photo.

By the power of Calfire indeed !!

What a horrifying and powerful photo.

Wow, what an eery photo.

Looks like it belongs on an old school album cover.

Wouldn’t this photo make a great wine label for product made from smoked fruit? Perhaps a new amazing product will come out of it!

i saw signorello on the news yesterday. the event space and tasting rooms were destroyed, but their fields are okay and they already harvested this year

Real heros!! ❤

I was a club member at scribe for years (used to live/work in wine country before moving to Oregon). I was in sonoma on Sunday and had mentioned to my wife that we should swing by and buy wine before we left town, but we just didn't have the time. I was absolutely gutted at the possibility that I'd never be able to go back. So glad you guys are safe, and can only hope everything remains that way for Sonoma, Napa, and Santa Rosa.

We’re not really worried about it. They have the means for mass-communication beyond what Reddit can reach. I’m happy they can use it and get it to people. I also sent accurate details along with it.

Wow - great photo - I work at KTVU. Can I use this with a courtesy? Would you mind emailing me? Leslie.Dyste@foxtv.com

I never run out of praise for Cal Fire.

They declare war on combustion itself. And win.

this needs to be a T-Shirt

Hell of a picture. I'm glad it was saved.
