We had a cat who was blind for the last 8 years of his life. He adapted qute quickly and mastered the house. He used to be a lay on his ass sleep all day normal cat and then after his accident he prowled every inch of the house. Would often still escape and lurk in the garden, hiding, waiting for those silly birds. That was the serious answer. May I please now give a nonsence answer ? ............................. With a kitty kat kane.
Serious question, how does he get around?
My cat is blind and deaf and still gets around. She is only on one floor of the house now though but she is suprisingly capable of finding her food/water, litter, and humans to get pet by.
Its funny to see her getting around. She bounces from wall to wall but doesnt actually run into the walls, just feels them with her whiskers. I call her our roomba that doesnt clean anything.
I'm not normally a cat person, but damnit is that an adorable cat. I wanna give him head scratchies so had.
I just can't go a day without seeing a tragically injured animal.
This poor cat. At least he's got good owners. Still makes me sad though. I've never seen so many limbless or eyeless cats until I subscribed to this sub.
Think of it as noticing those who help. Yes, I heard his voice as I typed it.
This kkk sheds on sheets but never wears them.
He sees with love and boops
Our blind Spencer would run away and hunt. Mason is so beautifully unique. You will have many wonderful years and will be surprised at his social dominance if you have other kitties.
Cute kitty. Great name. Give him a treat for me!
I bet he loves cuddles and rubs.
I had a dog that was blind when I was a kid, he would move around the house really slowly/carefully.
