The problem is that SNL wasted no time in going after Moore--a legitimate target, in my opinion--but said nothing about Harvey Weinstein until several weeks after allegations surfaced. Why? Because Weinstein was part of a favored class, one of the Hollywood elite. It was a professional courtesy to leave him alone in the early days, a courtesy only lifted after late-night television was lambasted for its silence.

I have no problem with the Not Ready For Prime-Time Players slapping the Alabama Republican around a bit. What I have a problem with is the hypocrisy in going after Moore as soon as the news breaks, but leaving their tribe alone until the outrage was too deafening to ignore.

OP notes: does anyone other that beta libs watch SNL any more? The last time I watch it John Belushi was still doing the samurai and killer bee things.

Lorne Michaels won't go after one of the tribe.

Saturday night lies can fuck off and burn with cnn

Have they ignored Kevin Spacey too? Louis CK?

No, they blasted them on weekend update. Aside from the opening Ray Moore sketch, last week's was the most honest and balanced I've seen in a while. That's not saying much, of course.

Here is the thing. Few watch SNL but everybody plays their little skits to hype us up. Ignore them.

Brian L. Roberts the CEO of Comcast (owner of NBC) is responsible for the left wing agenda of NBC, MSNBC and now even the business channel CNBC is infested with liberals. Every day Trump bashers. Republican bashers and left wing nonsense. NO STOCKS TODAY just an author touting the benefits of refugees and actually said refugees are not a problem in Europe and the US should bring more here (get this) because if we let the harmless refugees in the US will be able to get actionable intelligence from them?

The 90s had an awesome cast. In particular Phil Hartman was fucking great (RIP), I stopped watching after most of those people left.
