Well, that solves it. Puppy stays in bed.
this pup's got sass, style, and cuteness
My friend's grown Aussie doing about the same thing. He's the most cuddly, crazy dog I've ever met.
My brother's Aussie broke through their second floor screen window....and jumped off the roof unharmed. 80% adorable fluff 20% a dumb dumb.
You forgot beauty. Look at those eyes.
Yasss! Hey! 👏🏼👏🏼 That's my pup!
This dog belongs to a childhood friend of mine, u/kristyn_bee. Damn cute.
So cute! You can almost hear him go "No. No. No! No. Nnnnnno." haha
They're too smart for their own good. Mine tried to jump up on the counter and get some rotisserie chicken and knocked down a whole knife set. Luckily he was unharmed
The head in the pillow is just super duper cute!
Mine , off of my moving truck onto another truck bed at 35 mph. Thank god he was unharmed, but I did have to chase the driver of the truck down for 3 miles before he finally noticed me waving him down to pull over.
I think your dog is trying to get away from you bro
Me neither little pupper
Yeah, the dog ate her $400...
It's gohjahs, I tell you. Just gohjahs.
Looks like a red merle Australian shepherd. My black aussie does the same exact maneuver when it's time to wake up. And she's 5.
Mine got into my girlfriends purse and ate $400 cash. Goodbye rent.
They're talking about the dog breed though, not the people.
My Aussie pees on the floor when you pet him
Send that money to the treasury, 50.1 % of a bill means they will send you the money back. Plus they work really hard to help you out!
I file this under my neat facts folder!
This is him now :)
Your pup is awesome. I'd feel weird if I saw my dog get reposted!
Leave my Indian great-grandmother out of this
Ours has locked us out of the house using the deadbolt, climbed a ladder shelf to eat 5 oz. of 80% dark chocolate (unwrapped it as well), learned how to drink out of unattended glasses and coffee cups without spilling, and spits the pits out when he eats kalamata olives.
What breed is she/he?
We found pieces of chewed up 20's and a check book that had been chewed on.
Op is clearly a Karma farmer. :(
Post with sound (not embeddable because Reddit).
Happened to my puppers. Posted him on /sub/puppies and a week later, my buddy sends me buzzfeed a link "DUDE, NUMBER 12 (or whatever)"
The article was something like "Here are the 25 cutest puppies on the internet" so, honestly, wasn't even mad.
Here's the picture in question, btw. My little guy was certainly adorable.
Was only a single 20 shredder to bits and then forces the dog to chew the check book. Solid plan. Perfect excuse.
Mines almost 4, she does this when it's time for bed, or when my husband doesn't get out of bed. (She lets me sleep in, she's a good girl. )
Edit- I guess no one likes those blue eyes :(
Edit x2- Ok I tried again and these should be easier to tell the blue. I think that other one had a filter. And thanks to the person that brought up my trash, that's a Hiball so at least it's fancy highly caffeinated trash
For children of any species, being cute means your parent is less likely to abandon you. They want to take care of you. Attractiveness matters.
For dogs and cats specifically, we bred them to be cute.
Dogs with blue eyes are my weakness
In the GIF he's maybe 3 months? Now he's almost 2 (in January)
His name is Scout! :)
It's got charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.
What did it say? It's been removed
You see a non-compliant pup.
I see a pup.
Everything about this post is super duper cute!
Aww the eyes are so cute, my dog has eyes like that too and aren't they so cute? Mine's a blue merl border collie sheepdog, what's yours?
Thought I was having a stroke while reading this.
Yeah, mine figured out how to jimmy the back gate when he was like 6 months old and used that ability to go hang out in the front and chew on rocks and concrete.
It was the original owner of the pup
It's moving around in bed like a singer in those older pop music videos.
What breed is that
That dog is stunning 😍
Aussie's are so cute
Your username... It was you!
I've got a mini Aussie, almost 1, same story. But then when the temper tantrum doesn't work she gets reeeeeaaal snuggley so you don't want to get out of bed either.
Mine is 5 months. She torpedoes at me and my girlfriend when it's time to wake up.
Source: Am Aussie
TIL I am a puppy
It's a /sub/wigglebutts!
Not gonna lie, was trying to make a meta joke, but I can't find the post I was referencing..
So just pretend I'm insane or something and forget this.
See, I'd feel weirdly violated. Maybe that's why I don't put my pup on Reddit. Says a lot about my pettiness!
Edit: by the way, your dog is adorable. Would repost in a heartbeat (not really, of course!)
It's got about $1500 worth of it to be precise.
Greenwind, is that you?
Oh thank Christ! it's not just my dog! Dude can open pretty much every door. Even doors with knobs and deadbolts. You need an obstacle in front of the door to ensure he won't wander outside to say hello to the deer in the middle of the day. He's even opened the garage! The button is 8 feet off the ground! That goofball has given Fed Ex and USPS more heart attacks (and licks and cuddles to make up for the scare) than I could possibly count!
Cheers for the great laugh, cunt.
He was 3 months or so here. He's almost 2 now. He is about 47 lbs so not too big!
My girlfriend does this exact same thing. This is way cuter tho
This looks like a play behavior to me and from what I understand, those are innate. My wife and I currently have a litter of puppies, and have witnessed them spontaneously engage in play invitations like paw-swping and bowing over the last few weeks. We have adult dogs, but they didn't engage in such behavior (which the puppies might be imitating) until the puppies started doing it toward them.
This looks almost like a dance.
He stays in bed now, yes :) He is a big handful. Lots of energy. He's learned how to open doors, he escaped from his crate once as a puppy, he knows a whole host of tricks.... that's just the start of it, I'm sure!
I think you mean u/pitchforkemporium
Oh cool he's adorable
/sub/wigglebutts needs to see this.
Definitely not less intelligent, my oldest one is one of the smartest dogs I've ever met, you can have full blown conversations with that dog. The energy and work ethic is still all there, just pint sized. I haven't "studied" the differences, but just from having one and what I know about breeding I think in general expect some leg/hip/joint problems with the minis. Karma started having joint issues when she was about 5/6 and has been on supplements for it ever since. She'll be 11 next month and that's the only health issue we've had with her however. I suspect when trying to create the "miniature" breed they ended up breeding in lots of Aussies that had leg issues to keep the short leg gene going. Again, I don't actually know anything about how the breed was created, this is all my speculation. Also when you look at my 2 it looks like my oldest has a corgi somewhere in her bloodline, she's got the typical Aussie barrel chest/body but short legs. My youngest looks like she has a Pomeranian somewhere in her genealogy, she's got long lanky legs but is more petite and smaller than the older one. Edit: photo. Tried to find one of them standing next to each other, but you can see the difference in their legs/bodies in this:
new life goals: get an Aussie Shepherd
I have 2. If the alarm goes off they are in the bed and it's on. If it's the weekend they'll sleep in. Kind of the best of both worlds.
Can you kiss him and give him scratches for me? He's so freaking adorable I can barely handle it.
I'm saving this gif for whenever I feel sad.
I wanna see video!
My Aussie gets like 4 hrs a day of exercise. I'd stay away from herding breeds if you don't wanna exercise it much. Otherwise they get destructive.
Don't tell her that....
The best comments are always taken, I was about to comment on the sheer sassiness of the little fella, love it.
Is there any science or reckoning behind this kind of behaviour? I mean, he's a few months old at most, did he learn that this sorta thing gets him what he wants? Or is it genetic or something?
Get this comment higher yooo
Looked like a possible original source for the video.
I didn't see it either but judging by GP it was probably about karma farming. It's getting worse and worse as times goes on. Reddit admins should really say something publicly, especially if they can show us what they're doing about it.
Post with sound
It would have been amazing if you didn't realize he was gone. Imagine that phone call.
"Hey there, It appears your dog hitched a ride with me?"
They don't look blue.
May be able to recover it if you have the pieces of the $20s still. Just send it to the Federal Bureau if engraving and printing
That's an insane story lol like I've never heard or imagined that this would happen
Which part of that sentence supports the assertion they are smart?
YES! Save it :) Scout says thanks for the belly scratches.
Is it your dog? Is there a YouTube source with sound?
"If I bury myself in the bed as deep as possible, they will never get me out"
I wonder what purpose cuteness fulfils in nature.
How old is he? Now and in the gif?
Was he ok after eating the chocolate?
Mine did a running jump, snatched a piece of chicken in mid air off the counter, and took off with it. A week later, my girlfriend had zucchini snatched from her the same way. lol
Once you go Aussie you never go back. Just to warn you.
My aussie mix has that same sassy defiance! Love those aussies! I'm going to have to get two.
