Helen Parr still thicc as fuck I see.

Damn those legs...

...on Bob are fucking tiny

Since this apparently takes place immediately after the first movie, maybe they’ll be fighting the Underminer

My guess is the Underminer is a quick intro/prologue sequence of this film that will lead to a quick montage of time passing/crime fighting.

If you could set how your body looked you'd be rocking some thicc ass legs too. Also, they're probably dense as hell, to withstand Mr. Incredible. The dynamics of how they get it on is interesting if you give it some thought.

I do, often.

Unbelievably stoked for The Watchmen for Kid's Sequel

Dude doesn't do leg day wtf.

A man of science, I see.

THICC

Is the villain going to be Shadman?

Yeah, much like the opening of the first movie with Mr. Incredible getting to the wedding and fighting Bomb Voyage on the way took place some 15 years or whatever before the rest of the movie. I've assumed a similar time jump will happen here.

Well I've heard it does, so there

During his training montage he's doing leg presses with a train!

I imagine it makes a sound like sticking a bottle into one of those recycling bins with the rubber flaps.

This thread is already full of things I never wanted to picture, but now there's sound added to it.

Something about this looks off. I remember them looking less bouncy, if that makes any sense...

I wonder if they’ll have another one of these moments.

giving birth must be incredibly easy for her too

Its pronounce "THE UNDERMINER!!"

It's the toy-rubber look (is this a specific material?) that you see in nearly all modern CG animated features, thanks to advances in subsurface scattering (that thing that happens when you shine a flashlight behind your fingers)

The original film actually pioneered subsurface scattering at Pixar, but it was clearly still in its early stages, probably hard to work with, and couldn't be used for every shot. Here's a daytime screenshot from the first one as an example: https://www.cataloguemagazine.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/theincredibles.jpg

Notice the line of shadow dividing their "lit" and "dark" sides? That's caused by the primary light source competing with fill lights that are faking scattered light. Compare it to the OP's screenshot, where their suits smoothly descend into a soft, accurately light-scattered shadow. You can know for sure that no SSS was used in my example shot by looking at their ears. As the thinnest part of the head, light indirectly hitting them should create a slight red glow along the interior, which is visible in the OP's screenshot (and any character close-ups you search for)

These days, SSS is not only used in every scene, but I personally feel it gets pushed way too far. Instead of everything looking like plastic, everything looks like that squishy rubber I always see in toys but don't have a name for.

I'll take "things I wish I didn't google" for 200 Alex

A gentleman and a scholar

Yeah but since he has super strength leg day is only 10 train presses!

"I AM ALWAYS BENEATH YOU, BUT NOTHING IS BENEATH MEEE!"

Which also happens to be the plot of the watchmen. The guy above you didn't do the best job describing it. Public backlash causes government to make it illegal, many years later someone is killing old heroes, a few come out of retirement to find out what's happening.

imagine being this fucking pathetic

I doubt it because it shows jack jack as a baby

That's Spiderman's wife

That better be the fucking Underminer they’re looking at

Lol Jack-Jack doesn't give a fuck

I've heard the film has no time jump.

Superheroes are being killed off and as a result many heroes go into hiding. In both films.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who drew the comparison in the first one. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

Was gonna say... teenager Dash would've been funny haha.

The comments on that video are... incredible.

You’re right It’s a lot more cartoony this time around I’ve noticed The only thing I’m scared of with this new film is change from a perfect style of the first one.

Better than IQ.

Kinda sad there's no time skip, but I'm glad those thighs are still there

She's Elastigirl, not Plastigirl. Her thighs presumably snap back to their (large) normal thickness whenever she isn't expending conscious effort.

Mrs Incredibly THICC

I doubt it as we want Jack-Jack as a baby.

PAWG

Nope, just human. Get back to that couch.

His workout montage in that movie was one of my favorite scenes. I always wondered how a superhero with super strength works out lol.

So...time to start your Senate campaign

I had a bit of a crush on violet when I was younger. I know, she's an animated character, but for some reason those feelings are coming back again. Is something wrong with me?

-Goatse

-Lemon Party

-"Fluffy abuse"

-Vore

-Foreskin cheese

-Anal Prolapse

Very disappointed. I was really hoping they’d age the characters more. More of the same.

Oh indeed. I remember when I first saw the movie I was like god damn, those artists knew exactly what they were doing. Some of the comments are kind of to the extreme.

Hope we get to see Frozone's wife in this one.

Imagine that though, giving birth, and you child comes out invisible

(the fact that Helen was so certain about Jack Jack not having any powers despite him being a tiny baby proves that her and Bob have dealt with a speedster baby as well)

I choose to believe she is naturally thicc, rather than perpetually morphing herself to achieve ideal thiccness

There's a part in the first movie where she looks at her butt and looks disappointed. She's naturally T H I C C

The only one of those I've actually ever seen is goatse. Also, the Wikipedia article for it has a scary amount of attention to detail:

Its front page featured a picture, entitled hello.jpg, showing a naked man stretching his anus with both hands, to approximately the width of his fist. The inside of his rectum is clearly visible, alongside a mole at the 11 o’clock point relative to his anus. Below, his penis and scrotum are visible, as well as a wedding ring on the ring finger of his left hand

Well, to be fair...

I think they should switch legs.

I've been thinking of this ever since the first film came out...your comment makes me feel less weird for doing so

That's not at all what happened in The Incredibles. The Government puts the superheroes into hiding after public outcry, and then someone starts pulling them out of hiding and killing them. Literally the opposite.

They could have the underminer scene then a time jump like with the original and bomb voyage.

Do you think it's a Photograph, or perhaps a still?

I think once we see them move around, we'll be seeing it more.

I kind of doubt that people take issue with the penises as much as the gratuitous amount of emotional and physical violence.

I bet he watches Rick and Morty

Whatchu mean fam it's all about Ela and Zofia

Wow it looks a lot better now. You don't notice it until you put them side by side.

How are they comparable? Im failing to see a connection

We already have with the teaser. The main difference I've seen is that they move far more smoothly than in the first one.

Yep, that's The Incredibles, alright.

That link was a lot less sexy then I thought it would be.

There's a stroller but she's too busy fighting bad guys to push it.

Who do you think's going to be more effective at protecting the baby? The Mom who has far more experience doing this kind of thing and will be far more effective at actually fixing the problem, or the sister who's still basically a rookie and can create force fields to directly stop anything that might pose a threat to said baby?

So yeah, I'm not surprised that Violet gets assigned to babysitting duty while Mom and Dad (and probably Dash) go out and kick butt.

I hope they don't overdo the cgi in this one.

THE UNDERMINER!!

...probably

IQ is fine wine.

I'm hoping her name is Super Mega Ultra Lightning Babe

This is the ideal female body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

Elsa?

I'd be scared of a baby who doesn't crawl yet but chugs his milk under a second. He'd look like a scary AF voracious thing rather than an amazing speedster.

Could be before the time skip. Could be teaser only.

It hurt just to imagine lol

Well Pixar did a lot of technological progress in the 14 years since the first one. I assume this one will be much more evolved than the first.

You might want to watch yourself, that's Mr. Incredible's wife you're talking about there.

Maybe you can all share a room in the asylum.

The music in that scene is also great. The whole movie’s soundtrack is great, but Bob’s montage (Life’s Incredible Again) and 100 Mile Dash are just particularly awesome. Giacchino is such a fun and creative composer.

Christ, I remember the first movie looking way better but seeing it like this the new screen of Incredibles 2 looks like how I remember Incredibles 1 looking. Damn.

I know right. I thought at least shake up the family dynamic a little

That was always my spray in CS 1.6.

It wasn't weird then but maybe it's weird now. The character is 14 so...

I wonder who the photographer was.

For real. Dudes got some baby legs

Oh, I like it alright

In the prologue he talks about women wanting to tell you their secret identity and says "You say your name is Super Mega Ultra Lightning Babe? That's good enough for me." At the time it's like he's making it up, but I think it'd be funny if he was dating Super Mega Ultra Lightning Babe when he said it and married her.

Omar comin.

Is this your first day on the internet?

I bet it looks like the Turn Down for What music video
