It was his favorite tank top he used to wear it at least twice a week.

What a great and blessed gift.

This sub is “made me smile”, I did not want to cry goddammit. I am a man, for crying out loud!

Edit : I was listening to a song that can be translated into English as “our incomplete story”. That did not help at all! :(

A most excellent gift. sorry for your loss

What was the white corner?

Those goddamn onion cutting ninjas are back...

My mother did this for a family friend of ours. Her husband passed away several years ago and was going to donate his shirts and ties to goodwill. My mother said she would do it so she wouldn't have to. She kept all of them for years in our house. She worked so hard on that quilt everyday after work. Recently our friend visited us and my mom gave her the quilt. The whole trip she talked about how grateful she was for it and what a beautiful gift it was. It is such a kind gesture and a great way to remember someone.

What a wonderful gift.

I'm crying. Sorry for your loss.

This made me cry. I am a mother of two sons and pregnant with the third and the thought of losing one of them hurts so much. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I wish your mother a wonderful mother‘s day and I hope the quilt will help her in her grief.
